Anyway wecan keep midds n atill get this guy

MKE: Kuzma
WAS: Adams, Connaughton, Jeff Green, picks via MKE/HOU
HOU: Lopez, Beauchamp

I thought of a similar move, but no picks via us, & we need a big back who's a viable starter but costs little. That's where it gets tricky.

You spelled twelve wrong. And it's still a no.

Washington should be given up a 1st or some 2nds just to unload Kuzma's contract. Also, if the Bucks were smart they would give up Wright instead of Marjon so they can use his salary slot to get big.

Kuzma is a longer contract than Midds and is still a worse player, even with Midds' issues. I wouldn't do the deal at all, but if it was done there needs to be an asset coming back to the Bucks, not vice versa.

Small deal idea.

Bucks:Martin/Boucher

TOR: Pat/Marjon-2nds from CHA and GSW

CHA:Payton/Santos

GSW: Bobby

Bucks get out of the second apron. Add a solid wing and a lob center. Also if they move Wright they can sign Rollins plus another buyout.

TOR gets seconds for taking Pat.

CHA gets out of Martins deal

GSW add scoring with Bobby.

Kuzma is a little like if Bobby couldn’t rebound or shoot, which are the only two things Bobby can do :-?

https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2025/02/wizards-bucks-have-discussed-middleton-kuzma.html

Swapping Middleton for Kuzma would allow the Bucks to move below the second tax apron, Robbins and Aldridge outline, saving them money and generating more roster flexibility while also allowing them to avoid having their 2032 first-round pick become “frozen” at season’s end.

However, Kuzma is in the midst of the worst season of his career and The Athletic’s duo says the Wizards would be seeking draft capital in order to acquire Middleton, who has battled injuries in recent years.

A straight-up swap of the two players also wouldn’t quite be possible due to the difference in their salaries, so for matching purposes, the Wizards would have to send out a second player along with Kuzma ($23.5MM cap hit; $26.5MM apron hit) in order to take back Middleton ($31.7MM cap hit; $34MM apron hit).

Horst would be lynched if this occurred.

I would genuinely boycott if any Kuzma deal materialized.

Been listening to cowherds fill-in today. HE brought up Giannis as a trade option... No way in hell the bucks would give up giannis now especially seeing how the doncic fallout played out. Only way I think they consider is if they get lotto picks (cooper flagg sweepstakes) plus young players, PLUS GIANNIS HAS TO REQUEST OUT. and we all know he might be the most loyal player I have seen to a fault. I don't see him asking out quite yet.

Still wouldn't do it but I don't see why we should give up anything else like picks to make it happen. If getting out of his contract isn't enough incentive for them then just say No.

The Bucks would be shedding a ton of money though. Kuzma’s is a year longer, but you’re shedding 14 million next year which puts you comfortably under the second apron especially with Brook’s deal ending.

Nobody cares about Khris as a player anymore. It’s all about the money and how few teams can even absorb it.

I'm thinking the same. I think the report was incorrect. I could see Kuzma being bundled with a promising player, and the level of promise determines whether we add draft capital at that point.

Kuzma is on a declining contract (21.4 mil 25-26, 19.4 26-27) which is nice, but he sucks. If anyone should get assets back its the bucks for taking 2 years of him back in the deal. If Kuzma is the best they can do, then do a fire sale and ship off bobby, brook, dame, khris and get a few seconds.

can't continue to dig holes.
