midds/lopez/patc (64 mil total).....for...... kuzma/brogdon/val (56 mil)....makes all the sense in the world if were actually going to go for it.

dame/brogdon
ajj/green
kuzma/gtj
giannis/prince
val/portis

trade takes us well under the apron and gives us 2.5 viable dudes for 1.5. mess gets us well under the apron and younger. gives us a cheap lopez replacement. brogdon could help this year but expires and wouldnt be replaced saving us even more money down the line. i mean whats the downside? losing lopez and midds hurts but honestly we all kind of get whats going on there

saves washington a bunch of money long term too. might not even need to be draft compensation moving here.

Kuzma is the new LaVine. Just a name thrown out there from Horst to create chaos. Don't worry guys.

The Bucks would be shedding a ton of money though. Kuzma’s is a year longer, but you’re shedding 14 million next year which puts you comfortably under the second apron especially with Brook’s deal ending.

Nobody cares about Khris as a player anymore. It’s all about the money and how few teams can even absorb it.

You may be right on the salary, but I still believe it worsens our title chances, and the current Bucks are as win now as any team has ever been. There is just no way I attach an asset to move KM for Kuzma, under any scenario.

Yea attaching any draft capital to get Kuzma would bring me to a dark, dark place. I'd rather roll the dice Midds can stay healthy and then next year he is an expiring contract.

I also don't believe that shedding Pat C costs a 1st round pick. His contract isn't THAT bad.

I'd take Midds over Kuzma and Lopez over Val (even as much as I've ragged on Lopez) for this year, if we are just looking at the title. Brogdon has a 75% chance of being injured in the playoffs and wouldn't want to come here.

So, yeah......

The Kuzma trade wouldn't even get us underneath the 2nd apron as we'd have to take an additional contract back. Would make absolutely zero sense to throw in even minor draft compensation on top of that. This has to be something with a 3rd team involved.

I wouldn’t take Kuzma for free, don’t acquire net negative stupid players and expect to contend.

I’m prepared for the worst for Horst’s desperate ass, he should be fired the day after the seasons over, not like we need his draft preparations

I want to fight him irl

If Kuzma for Middleton is in any way legitimate you have to believe the Bucks brass knows Middleton's joints are legitimately COOKED cooked and have no faith in him being available in the postseason. You can't justify this any other way than "add best useful guy we can in exchange for a guy we don't anticipate being available to help."

In what world is 32, 32, and 29 dramatically younger? None of these guys are long for the league.

I feel like we've been after Kuzma for a long time. With Grant Williams out, I would not bet against it. Horst gets locked into specific players.

Fair, I am not at all a fan of Kuzma but the take of "I'd rather just keep Middleton and hope for the best" loses a lot of merit if the medical concerns are sincerely dire.

It hurts emotionally as a fan to move on from Middleton as a player and as a low point as an asset but if there is legit strong belief he is a ticking time bomb then it makes some rational sense.

Kyle Kuzma is the Mo Bamba of Jeremy Lambs.

Yeah and he loves to dump all our assets to get it done too so I could easily see him coughing up additional assets for Kuzma

Like seriously 5 2nd round picks for Jae Crowder gtfo out of here, get this man out of professional sports

patc and brogdon are irrelevent. after this year brogdon expires and leaves. we get off patc here too. brogdon may help this year but may not even show. who even cares.

kuzma and val younger and healthier than midds and lopez. thats the obvious point. theyre literally 4 years younger each. neither ever suffering any major injuries. effing ironmen for our ticking time bombs. youre literally challenging me on that?

I’d imagine they are dealing Jonas somewhere. They can easily get that extra million to absorb Khris outright for Kuzma.

Yeah because they’re 100% not young players and won’t even be in the league in a few years all the same. That doesn’t extend the window at all. They’re marginally younger and not as good.

If you want Giannis to play center, go get Zion. Reports earlier in the year said New Orleans is frustrated and his league value is down and he could be had for a 1st round pick. Make it work however you have to. Giannis and Zion would be fun. New Orleans would probably be interested in the 2031 1st and Brooks 23m expiring as a starter.

If Dallas was worried about Luka long term, I’m sure New Orleans feels the same way about Zion.
RIP Kobe Forever. GOAT 8-24. Long Live Giannis
