Dallas went to the finals with Luka leading the way. So he already is more successful than Ayton.
Not to mention Doncic is probably a shoe in for the HoF and a lock if he manages to get his team another title. Ayton? He'll be lucky to be in the league if he keeps going as he is. I know height is something you can't teach, but it's pretty pathetic to be held out by the coach because your approach to the game you get paid to play is abjectly poor.

Has luka had more success already than booker? He led the team to the finals and was the only real star on the team.

Team wise? You could argue it's more or less about the same if their respective peak is the Finals. And FWIW CP3 in 2021 was an all-star, top 5 in MVP votes and I have no qualms in saying he was a better player in the post season than Kyrie especially if you take away those first few games where he got that shoulder stringer which affected him in the first series.

Also as a team overall, we were more well rounded, had more talent in some areas like C and a better bench. IMO Luka did play a better team in the Finals though

He’s just an unimaginative mediocre GM who has done as much damage NOT doing things as he has with his actual ineffective tinkering. Cant blame him for InfuriAyton though. That boy’s brain is stuck at 13. Had he kept progressing, he’d still be here. Not picking Luka is salt in that wound. Do a redraft of that year and the boy blunder goes 9th or 10th. Probably would have done him better.

Also, One could argue selecting Williams to coach this bunch was a bigger mistake. There is a reason why he’s coaching a high school now. Nice tumble Moronty

If Luka was a Sun I really don't know how I would feel.

Some players like Luka and Harden are just just giant douches it's very hard seeing myself supporting them because of all the whining and questions about their offseason conditioning.

I mean, so was CP3 and Grayson and I'm sure there's others but the teams that have them love them and support them regardless because they are good. It's pretty easy to have an arms-length view on these guys who have never played for the Suns and be more subjectively critical against "non-Suns".

I didn't hate CP3 or Grayson even that much but I still very much dislike Harden and his foul baiting antics but some of that has been tempered by the league cracking down on the foul baiting and the fact that he's just on his last legs.

I've never liked Harden but I wouldn't know how I would feel when he's putting up 50/10. Grayson was also pretty much hated league wide (by fans) because of his antics

Back when I felt something other than apathy for this team I'd probably be bummed about DA's past two games against. Now...meh.

We’ve learned to love him despite his childish state at times. Def growing on Portland fans.

You've to appreciate him if only for the fact you got rid of a player who can't even do a layup, much less dunk.

That is a lot of salary for PHX to match.

I know was just kidding. Blazers have a bright future at least more brighter than us.
