I don't understand why people keep saying X firsts as f they are created equally. if it's OKCs own, then hell no. they will be picks 25-30 that are borderline 2nds. so no I wouldn't trade Giannis basically straight up for Chet

Which one works in professional basketball and which is a fan posting their live reactions to things on the internet? Being a fanboy of the GM is some wild ****, are you some sort of relation?

Just remember that the Mavs were in 8th place last year at the trade deadline before they traded for Gafford and Washington, got hot, and made a run to the finals.

It doesn't have to be a splashy name to make a big impact and undervalued players on bad teams can look a lot better when they are on a team with something to play for.

They only people that other teams will trade for are Giannis and Dame and we will end up trading Dame after we crash in the playoffs. We probably should trade Dame now if we got a nice return back but understandably we want to have him play once healthy in the playoffs alongside Giannis.

Horst has completely cornered himself he does not even have assets to get rid of Pat to get under second apron (why did he give him and Brook these contracts?)

We have had this discussion many times, but the reason we are in this mess (looking too old and slow and not having enough depth) is how bad Horst did with the few picks he did have. That, and the DDV/Ibaka trade absolutely tanked this teams window and now there really isn't a way out but to absolutely go for it with an aging roster and short window.

I go one-step further and think it's giving up all our assets for Jrue. For that package, we should've gotten either a younger or a better #2. Yeah I guess horst could've hit on some late firsts but he really didn't have many darts to begin with because of the Jrue trade and contract.

The Kuzma news is just further evidence that Khris isn’t an asset around the league. This is reminiscent of Jabari when we let him walk to Chicago and people freaked out we didn’t get anything for him.

All time great Buck, unfortunate this is the road we’re heading down with him, but at the end of the day it’s a business.
