Miles Bridges for Khris works.

(This is not financial advice)

I honestly might tap out if we trade Khris and draft capital for him. Like if we're not the ones getting other stuff for taking him on I might be out.

Yup, of all the rumors, this is the worst nightmare scenario. They do this, and it's all over. Horst is dumb enough to do it.

Yes, next season when we are below both aprons when Brook is off the books.

This move is positioning us for next year while taking a flyer on Kuzma.

I wish Lowe was still podcasting weekly to dispel the notion of current Khris on this contract being an asset. More people would be willing to accept it coming out of his mouth.

The names we've seen thrown around are Zach LaVine, Bradley Beal and Kyle Kuzma. I think people understand. I think most would rather just not trade for the sake of it.

That shouldn't be a thing we are concerned with.

Oh, our pick might be 30? So what?

This is win now

If SA is apt to that, you say yes immediately. Especially in the Kuzma wake.

Forgotten guy on here and in the national talk is probably Ingram. I did a 10 second search and it seems his injury is real but that he should be back at some point soon, but maybe that's why. Considering we're talking about Kuzma and other worse options he'd be a big step up from there. really the main issue on him is the impending contract demands, but an injured year and a year of no one wanting him via trade maybe that's been tampered down a bit. Depressed asset in him maybe makes him gettable for our depressed asset. Turn our 34ish year old oft injured overpaid guy into a 28 year old one. Not like I'm pining for it, but considering the other discussions being had I'd take it. Assuming the injury isn't serious (possibly holding him out til deadline) and he's back soon

Is there a history that doc and Kuzma have that I’m not aware of?

Will Marjon still be on the team after the deadline?

You have more tools to change the roster when you are operating under the aprons. We are currently seeing how limited our options are as a second apron team. The new CBA is brutal.

He and Kuzma will probably become best friends and go out clubbing together.

Easily the most anxious I’ve been about a deadline in awhile  just feels like we are about to have a classic blunder

Why on earth would the Wizards want Khris Middleton?

I think they basically need to do the Suns/Utah thing where we turn the 31 1st into 3 first rounders. Even if that and getting under the 2nd apron was all we did it would be a successful deadline. Gives us WAY more flexibility going into next year,

As long as it's not the garbage firsts Phoenix got, I'm on board. Firsts that involve one team please.

on one hand, that's delusional thinking since the Phoenix trade literally sets the bar for what we can expect if we trade an extremely similar pick. on the other hand, we will not be dealing with Danny Ainge... looking back, i find it hard to believe that Ainge offered them the best possible deal for that pick. the world where your comment is not delusional is one in which the Suns were having general discussions with the Jazz and it was Ainge who came up with the three for one scenario and then sealed the deal before it could be shopped too much. So now you have other teams that saw that trade and they would also like to get in on this unprotected 31 1st action. Perhaps there's now some competition that didn't exist before.

I agree that it may be delusional, but that's the only way I'm trading that pick. I'm not trading it for a guaranteed 25 or worse and then 2 picks that involve getting the worst pick out of 3 teams.

If that's the garbage I'm being offered, I'll keep it.

Our pick should be worth more than Phoenix's pick, but we should absolutely do something like that. Feel almost certain OKC would be all over it.
