Would not work under the new CBA because of the weight discrepancy.

Booker and Beal is not a bad 1-2 punch at all, with whatever pieces we can get back.
You forgot to add Butler. No way Ishbia trades KD without some incentive he is getting Butler, Kuminga and Green back. I know I wouldn't. Not sure why Warriors would do this it makes their team worse for the rest of the season. Of course it also benefits them for next season they can retool around KD and Curry.

Is it a big stepdown from what we have now...?
Give and take in some areas we'd get better and in others a bit worse. This team would be pretty strong defensively, and somewhat more athletic and physical. But obviously worse offensively. And smaller too. Little 3 or prowess too.
Hard to say if we'd be much better either given Butler's age and Green's decline. But if we are consistent bringing in some young athletic, hungry talent, then we could maybe sustain a 6-8 range team until the talent develops and offers greater impact.
We're probably more balanced on both ends of the court but we do lose that offensive in KD....not that we're very punchy right now as a team though. I dunno, I don't hate the line up but I feel like giving up KD for essentially Kuminga is not great in my view. Will need to see what kind of drat capital is involved although I doubt it's a bounty.

I would be fine without Green or flipping him to a different team.

Why? what is the one problem this team has been having. Yeah rebounding the ball. He can rebound. He's a champ for a reason.

I don't get it...
1. I thought Jimmy wanted to play in Phoenix with KD and Book
2. Ishbia really essentially trading KD for Jimmy, not pairing them up
3. Seems like pretty poor use of KD's remaining value

I would rather not trade Durant and I think it will be a mistake but it will have to be quite the Kings ransom to make it worth our while. Warriors pretty desperate right now.

Yeah, I'm not sure how Butler solves the problem by replacing him with KD. Suns get even smaller.
