At this moment, GSW is ahead of DAL in the standings. Hilarious. I was probably wrong on “take the over” for GS, but i was definitely right on “take the under” for the Macs.

(Although they are a different team now, so who knows?)

Yes, but you'd expect steph to be on that list too on a front end of a b2b vs the Jazz. I'm guessing that there might not be enough players.

To read that "Draymond Green is a player the Suns would covet in trade talks with the Warriors" is so galling. The effing Mavs got Anthony Davis, Max Christie and a first rounder for Luka. I don't give a crap what anyone thinks...An offer of Draymond, Kuminga and two first rounders from the Dubs would have been a superior offer. Every proposed deal the Dubs are currently being linked to is a direct result of the caught with their pants down moment they realized they could have been players for Luka.

Dream on. Every report says the only player Harrison wanted was Davis. He wasn't looking for the "best" offer, not that that Draymond package would have been best.

Not if part of their price is a non-negotiable top-10 player right now. You can argue they're fools for what they traded away (I think it was dumb) and what they got back, but the Warriors cannot meet that price. Only way would have been to get another team involved, but there aren't that many top-10 players available (possibly zero others) and they'd be more likely to deal directly with Dallas than involve the Warriors anyway.

Doubtful, but it's a damn sight better than the across the board Meh we have right now. At least with that lineup defenses can't load up 3-4 guys on Steph.

It must be his man crush because it's not stats!

Moody stans are troubled souls. Did you go to his basketball camp or something? Moody is a solid spot up 3 point shooter. Podz got a few other shots imo

You're funny. I'd trade em both, I thought I'd insert a fact to go up against your opinion..

That's the question mjd is likely dealing with. Is this starting group a contender worth giving up the post steph picks and going into the second apron. Defense would be a big problem, but kd alone might fix our offense.

No future picks and 180M for steph, jk, dray, and kd.

That’s cope. The answer is Podz or GPII? Not to me. Every lineup has tradeoffs. A lineup with Wiggins, Dray and Looney makes up for issues Moody has with quick guards enough.

How are Dray, Looney and Wiggins helping when guards blow past Moody? They have to help off their man and it’s drive and kick to wide open shooters that have been killing the Warriors for the past few years.

What “trade off” is Moody bringing to make up for that?

Cdm has the numbers to back it up and posted it a few dozen times.

But, if wiggs and dray are your backline, then poa isn't as important because those 2 provide help (better if loon as c). Wiggs still takes the hardest match ups, but like dray, they guard 2. Dray is the crux of the defense much like steph is for the offense. He cant do it alone, but wiggs as his Robin cover alot of space and breakdowns.

Klay and poole played alot of our poa in 2022 under brown. After brown left, wiggs was exclusively poa with only dray as help, that's when we started breaking down.

I would definitely consider packaging Dray in a deal for KD. Yes, Dray adds a lot on defense, has great chemistry with Steph, and creates an x factor in the playoffs, but the reality is that the team is nearly .500 without him, and barely .500 with him. The Dubs need to add KD for offense, and at least some decent defender at the 5 to have a realistic chance at another ring. If they could get both KD and Turner, they would possibly be substantially better than they are now. If Dray has to be included in a package, I say do it.

I know Luka just happened but I don’t think Steph ever gets traded. He’s the whole organization and hopefully Lacob sees it the same.

Getting KD doesn’t make us a contender but it may unlock Steph back to being Steph again. Him averaging 16 ppg with 3 defenders picking him up 70 feet from the basket is awful ball to watch.

Fix that and maybe we get on a roll. I’m way more worried about the offense stalling for 3+ min than I am defense rn

Okay, so what are we talking about here? The suns want Draymond, Kuminga, Moody, Podz, two unprotected first round picks and four first round pick swaps. That would be everything in the cupboard.

Report: Warriors met with ‘exorbitant' asking price for KD trade

https://www.nbcsportsbayarea.com/nba/golden-state-warriors/kevin-durant-trade-rumors-draymond-green/1825840/

The Suns are asking for "essentially everything of future value" from the Warriors in exchange for the 15-time NBA All-Star.
