Bruh I'd kill for that type of week, but mine is usually meetings 6 of the 8 hours. So I almost always miss big trades. Won't say I don't check RealGM during meetings though.

If Beal/Booker/Butler = contender then Dame/Butler/Giannis also = contender.

Or is it really the Suns owner promised Butler a three year max deal and much like Beal he also wants to retire in Arizona?

Phoenix will get assets for giving up KD, so they’ll get Jimmy plus 1sts which they can use to retool their roster.

It would be KD and Nurkic outbound and more coming to PHX like Kuminga, Draymond, Podz, etc.

Yeah, Wiggins/Kuminga/Anderson gets them within $8M or so of KD’s salary but assuming they are not moving Green, they would HAVE to move GPII, Moody, or Hield to get enough salary going out. They can’t trade Dennis.

Can GSW send back multiple pieces or can they only do a one for one trade given Phoenix is a second apron team?

Ok everyone... I've completed my magnum opus of 2025 deadline trades. This is my final answer:

Bucks get: Claxton, Kuzma, Aaron Wiggins, & Dayron Sharpe
Nets get: Brook, Wright, future OKC 1st
Thunder get: Portis, Baldwin Jr, Bucks 2031 1st
Wizards get: Middleton, Future OKC 1st
Pistons get: Pat, 2 future OKC 2nds

This works on Fanspo, gets the Bucks below the 2nd apron, and leaves enough room for the Bucks to convert Rollins. It uses up all your draft capital except the 2031 2nd but Claxton, Kuzma, and Wiggins are all on pretty attractive multi year deals.

Dame/Rollins
Wiggins/Green/GTJ
Kuzma/AJAX
Giannis/Prince
Claxton/Sharpe

Suns are $30 million (!) over the second apron and can obviously only send out KD. Warriors can aggregate. So this deal would work. Wondering how Miami factors in though. Heat are first apron.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Schroeder is eligible to be traded starting tomorrow though.

It’s been two months since that trade?

Midds patc Bobby and aj Johnson along with 2031 first which would be needed, works for Collins Sexton and Kessler. Ainge would prob do ir with the 31 pick. This deal totally rejuvenates us. Plus we can then deal Brook for whatever too. Thoughts??

Leaves us with no wings or versatility up front. Pretty brutal. Would need to follow up with a Dame trade.

This would be way too much to give from our side. I think we’re prob a better team just keeping Midds and Bobbo. But to give up the pick and AJ too? I’d want a much bigger haul than two pretty ho hum guys.

A very bad trade for a bad player and an ok player, neither of whom are good fits.

Kessler would be a warm body as a backup big but have no interest in Sexton, certainly am not giving up rotation players for them. Not to mention that we wouldn't be gaining frontcourt depth due to sending out Bobby. Khris could play 15mpg in the playoffs and he'd still be worth more than both of those dudes put together. Bobby also substantially better than either of them.

I don't particularly care about AJ or the pick, but I'm not giving them away in service of getting dumber and worse.

Trading Bobby to SLC would be dirty, and I’m not talking about from a basketball perspective. Bobby in SLC is a reality show I would watch.

Also what would Ainge want with Khris and Bobby? This is a team that's deliberately feeding minutes to a spectacularly unready Cody Williams whenever he's healthy enough. They want to stink.

Someone posted similar but makes sense.

Bucks: KD
.....get under tax and superstar
Suns: Butler
......saves some money and new superstar
Heat: Mids, Lopez and Bucks 1st
......gets something and can still be in playoffs
Det: Beauchamp, Burks and some 2nds
...bonus junk

Sign a buyout Center to replace Lopez

I don’t think this is legal given we’re a second apron team. I think we’d need to dump Pat first to like Detroit before we could aggregate any salaries in a trade.

Actually makes less than zero sense for Phoenix.
