Yeah, he has no future in the NBA. He'll be out of the league in the next couple of years if not sooner.

It'll be interesting to see if the team sits on their hands at the trade deadline.

Teams who need a center like the Lakers might have to cough up that 2031 pick to
get TL. Team has showcased their vets and tonight was the last game before the
February 6 trade deadline. We'll know soon enough if there are any deals

I need to mentally prepare myself for the reality that Billups may be resigned this summer...

Blazers showing a lot in this stretch, we will see if they can keep this up but right now they look like a playoff team.

I'm still hoping for a high draft pick this summer, but I can't help smiling, fist-pumping, and enjoying the games lately.

How come Ayton started the 2nd half on the bench?

Avdija looked really tired tonight. They need another forward so they can give Deni, Camara, or Grant a night off, like they do with the centers.

I'm still skeptical they will end up as a playoff team for the team and players know the trade
deadline is Thursday and the players that are here know this team is still 7 games under .500
with 31 more games left in the season. There currently are 11 teams in the western conference
that are at .500 and Portland would need to finish 19-12 to finish at .500

At this point, any hopes of a high draft pick requires prayers and the basketball gods giving the Blazers some respect for not blatantly tanking like they have the last few years.

Why don't we start focusing on players we CAN draft instead of bitching about who we can't? Maybe start looking in the late 8-13 range and see what might fit well?

Yes, it is nearing or already time to accept that the Blazers are unlikely to draft in the top 3. For a lot of us, this is a disappointment because we prefer the prospects at the top of this draft to the ones on our own roster. But here we are. Might as well focus on the positives and hoping for the best feasible outcomes rather than lamenting the dying dreams of Cooper Flagg.

I didn't expect a top 3 pick to begin with so maybe my hopes aren't as far off as some others. I expected to be #5 or #6. Now it's looking more like #10 to #12. Lotta games left so only time will tell.

Hopefully the FO is looking at all options. Team needs shooting and top deck talent.

Scoot's had a really nice turnaround this season so far. It's easy to cherry-pick streaks, but I think a natural break in the season is when he came back from a 4-game absence against the Lakers on December 8th. I could make the split more favorably but cutting it a little closer to January, but here's the split:

First 16 games: 26.5 MP, 11.7 PPG on 41.6%/32.0%/75.0% splits, 2.9 RPG, 5.4 APG, 0.9 SPG, 0.1 BPG, 3.1 TOV, 2.6 PF, 7.8 Game Score, -6.9 +/-

Last 28 games: 26.7 MP, 13.3 PPG on 44.5%/38.6%/80.0% splits, 3.3 RPG, 5.2 APG, 1.3 SPG, 0.4 BPG, 2.4 TOV, 2.8 PF, 10.9 Game Score, +0.7 +/-

Assists are very slightly down but the AST/TOV ratio has gone from 1.78 to 2.18. Quite encouraging after a slow start to the season.

These wins are fun but meaningless and setting the franchise back years. We need a top 3-4 pick or the season was pointless. We already wasted the 7th on DC last year when we should have taken Edey.

Didn't get to watch this one, but might have to go back and watch...

Obviously a gutsy and impressive win, even if I can't stand the minutes distribution.
