Does it matter at this point?

Hopefully there is another trade or two...strip it down

Horst really looked at this and said, let me add my first-round pick from a few months ago and a pick swap on top. There better be more moves because Horst screwed this up massively.

The Kuzma for Middleton part is bad but if you really think Middleton is cooked then okay you can spin it that way whether everyone agrees or not. Including AJ Johnson and a swap is just bad business. If they didn't at least prep Giannis for this ahead of time it might be all over.

Saying goodbye to Khris hurts but to me, losing AJ Johnson hurts so much more. Vv disappointing.

This was the one time Giannis should've said something or forced Horsts hand FFS.

I could have begrudgingly talked myself into Kuzma/Middleton if I tell myself Khris's physical condition is so DIRE that adding any warm body plus the flexibility for next year (or now) with getting under the apron.

But adding our one upside dude is a gut punch. Will irrationally hope there is a MTC now that makes this make sense but more likely we'll be waiting until the offseason to see if that added flexibility pays off in any meaningful way.

We gave up a pick swap too? So we can't even bottom out and tank for the next five years?

I am done. AJ was the only rookie with promise we have had since Donte. What an absolute f*cking joke.

This trade was all about bringing Patrick Baldwin Jr. back HOME!

So now we're under the second apron. Let's see if there is more coming.

Is it possible that the deal fills out more and this is only part of it?

Fire Horst. He cannot be the one to make the Giannis trade this summer nor can Doc. We are ****.
