Yes, now that usage will go to Kuzma and his .488 TS. 280 3%. Winning.

We can trade Portis, Pat C, and Beauchamp for another Brook Lopez.

Two Brook Lopez tapping rebounds back and forth to each other would at least make this season comical.

I would have been sad, but why didn't we throw Pat into this and get back either Holmes or Bagley? The Wizards should have given us more.

Kuzma wouldn’t even be good at last seasons numbers(when he was a first option tank commander)

He just sucks, end of story. He was overrated af in LA too and that was 5 years ago

I'm sure there were a lot of options discussed. Just because we want to dump Pat doesn't mean anyone wants him.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I fear that this trade is that moment.

It was Grief's hiring. Flailing ever since.

Griff was a bad hire but his hiring coincided with the Dame trade and the Giannis extension. The extension, especially, kept our window open.

I'm sorry but you mean the guy who dribbled off his knees all the time and had a terrible TO late vs Memphis (which he did plenty often) haha. Not saying you're wrong, but "smartest player on our team" is a low bar.

Hell, I'd trade him for a third round pick.

- 42% FG/28% 3PT/60% FT shooting splits
- 48.8% TS
- 10.7 PER, -5.6 BPM, -0.069 WS/48

And for that guy, we traded not only a dude whose jersey will be retired for the Bucks, a dude who was instrumental in us getting a title and been with Giannis for the entire build...but we also tossed in our 1st round pick who was the only prospect on the roster with a modicum of upside, AND a pick swap.

**** Jon Horst forever.

Kuzma is bad but I really wouldn't look at his stats from this season at all. He has not been even trying to play serious basketball. I don't know if he wanted to be traded or was just pissed to be playing with 3 19 year olds and a 20 year old, but he's just been walking down court and shooting turn around 3 air balls. No way he'll do that on a serious team.

Also look at how his contract his structured. It's declining -- he got paid up front and will only make 19M towards the end of his extension.

His contract is only 11% of the projected cap in 2026 FWIW.

Time is a flat circle except for this time our owners aren't a nice guy who loves the city and team, they are hedge fund douchebags that see collecting paper as the be-all and end-all of existence. Starts with them.

Responsibility for this abomination to Horst but don't forget Giannis for his input on the roster and coaches.

I should be praying this turns into just a full reset and not the beginning of the end of basketball in MKE. The city doesn't have the appetite or cash to support a **** team for a decade; which is all the owners and NBA need as motivation. I will not be surprised if they move.

*overreaction? Maybe, but this is my process thank you very much.

Not the off-season when the Bucks extended an injured Khris and post back surgery contract year Brook?

Trade sucks but this is the price you pay for trading all your picks and overpaying guys on the downside of their careers. Only benefit is that we have a new guy to complaint about.

Clearly Middleton is washed. I mean did y’all not watch him the last two weeks? Kuzma isn’t great but he’s not as bad as he’s been in Washington. This isn’t even the second worst trade in the last week.
