I just hope he doesn't burn too many teammates doing this. Wicks seems miffed already...

I spoke too soon. WR room is having a melt down. This day can't get any worse.

Middleton traded for a guy who makes the worst team in the league worse and Jacobs pissing off his teammates all in the span of a few hours..... Hell of a Wednesday boys

It has pissed them off, but Jacobs is correct in his eval of the WRs. Between injuries, drops, and insufficient progress, that group was disappointing. Watson is going to be out for a long stretch, Doubs is one more concussion from being medically cut.

That group needs a better playmaker

WR room full of 2s and 3s doesn't want a better guy brought in. More at 11.

Jacobs is absolutely right in what he said.

He probably shouldn't have said it publicly though
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

They only WR we have I think is worth keeping around is Reed, Doubs would be too if he could stay on the field but hes not gonna last much longer sadly. Concussion issues are concerning to say the least and Watson clearly isn't that guy.

Adams would be the perfect mentor to Wicks! Their style of play is so similar. To have a vet and young player of that type could be huge for the future and the present.
Watson is always hurt like many have said.
Doubs unfortunately should probably retire early, meaning now. That last concussion was not a hard hit of the head and had a guardian cap on. That’s just not a good sign at all moving forward.

If it pissed them off good, go prove you're better and that they don't need a #1. Most of the drops by our top four WRs this year were ridiculous and that includes Reed who I love and think has potential to be a #1.

However, some of those drops by our WRs are d/t Love thinking every pass needs to be thrown at 60mph. It would help if he added some touch.

I strongly disagree that Love puts to much zip on the ball constantly. He’s nowhere close to a Farve or Elway. If anything I’d like him to step into his throws more and put the more zip on many throws. He needs to work on his accuracy if anything and stepping into his throws should help. Simple throw mechanics if and when possible. He misses many easy throws and open receivers still. Some of that was injuries this year but some seems like a habit too.

Wicks and the rest of the WRs need to go prove Jacobs wrong then. The WRs are talented as hell, but they have very little to show on the field.

Hope it sparks some fire and make them prove Jacobs wrong.

It's a wake up call, they need to improve, even if they don't stay with us long term, they need to improve to get a good 2nd contract anywhere else.

I know it's hard to listen these declarations made by a teammate, but I hope that, after calming down, they understand that Jacobs is right and none of them are a proven WR1 (for now) and the whole league knows it.
