Lets hope Pat Baldwin with his 69 games can be something.

my hope is that Pat Baldwin transforms and blossoms his game like Middleton did when we traded for him years ago.

Middleton wasn't trash as a member of the Pistons, he had genuine moments that showed he had promise. Please do the same for Baldwin. Anyone.

I will say that while I don’t think Kuzma’s poor numbers are directly related to being on a bad team, I do think that could be a contributing factor. Some of his highlights make it look like he’s just dicking around out there and when you pair that with some of his comments about the direction of the team it kind of pairs up.

Not expecting him to flip a switch and be great, but if we get an engaged player I would be very surprised to see his numbers be as bad as they are right now.

Again, should have just traded the pick and made these kind of moves in the offseason instead of panic maneuvering 24-hours before the trade deadline. Maybe then we wouldn't have gotten bent over a barrel by arguably the most poorly run poverty franchise of the last two decades.

Guys we can literally do a follow up trade ...

Brook + Pat + Delon + Marjon + '31 1st
(37M outgoing + 31 1st)

For

Brandon Ingram

or ..... any one you like and is available.

Khris trade has opened up alot of options.
It would be ideal if we could get Jimmy or Durant.
Maybe ... we haven't finished trading ...

It's actually very interesting that BP didn't go with whatever KM trade we pulled the trigger on.... the trade Lopez guys should be optimistic here that we see BP as the Lopez replacement that he can be our Horford and maybe we'd go after an athletic 5

Middleton was the prize of the trade for most on here, he had a nice all around game and complemented the length we were building at the time under Hambone. Baldwin is a nothing burger judging by this boards reaction to him. This trade was done mainly for financial reasons

Dame
Prince
Ingram
Kuzma
GA

Not saying it would work, but crazy

Wishful thinking but maybe. He just turned 22 in November so hopefully there’s more to him than what he’s shown because that certainly hasn’t been much.

I'm just chuckling to myself that we got Patrick Baldwin back for this, one of the very few guys (along with DJ Wilson) who was a consensus 1st but who I thought was undraftable.

maybe he is what he is but he has the pedigree and tools to be more than he has showed. Giannis might bring the dog out of him

The Wizards declined the TO on Baldwin for 25-26, so that will tell you just how terrible he's been. He's not even going to be on this roster next year.

Since I saw that we got under 2nd appron and still have our '31 1st ... suddenly I started thinking more positive about the trade.

Patrick Baldwin is awful. Please give up on that project.

Underrated but Baldwin destroyed the Herd the other day ... kinda looks like he can take the BP role in this video.

Yeah, let's slot him in for 25 minutes and the third most shots taken per game on the team. That'll work.

Underrated take, but maybe Baldwin is more ready than AJJ but in a logjam there and we demanded him for taking that extra year of Kuzma money.

The writing for PBJ was on the wall when he decided to play for his dad at UWM, if we’re being totally honest.

Not saying Khris can't get back to being Khris, but dude should have been traded a season or two ago if we're being honest. Should have been Khris instead of Jrue.

Yep. He has no lateral mobility anymore, and was always the worst defender by far anytime he stepped on the court since he couldn’t stay in front of anyone.

DUDE! Where the hell have you been

Man… I just didn’t have it in me anymore to battle here in the trenches day to day after we won the Championship. I would lurk here and there but I was coasting on that Championship Euphoria giving the team the benefit of doubt on pretty much everything since then but the back to back embarrassing loses to Miami and Indiana in the Playoffs and then the inconsistency of this season made me have to log in again.
