Just read that Capella is sitting out tonight (personal reasons). Optimistically, it's due to a pending Vuc trade.

Phoenix can't swap Nurk for Vuc, Vuc makes too much money and Phoenix are over the second apron.

Its just 1.9M difference, soo Phoenix can add another cheap player (like Ighodaro,R.Dunn or D.Lee) to balance it out..

Phoenix also can't aggregate salaries for a single player...

Vuc is probably included somwhere in this 4-5 teams bravado that would send Durant back to GS just wondering where and for what - expiring and some 2nds?

Ha, now I like Kevin Durant all of a sudden. Thank you, Kevin, for your assistance in getting Vooch off this roster.

I'm probably missing something, but Capela for Vuc would probably make us better for the rest of the season. Hard to understand why the Hawks would do a deal.

Surprised New Orleans isn't talked about more. They also just traded Theis which means they only have 1 center, a rookie on their roster.

Feel like Vuc's floor spacing fits better with Zion than Missi's game.

Valanciunas traded for two 2nd rounders. Slow unathletic centers don't seem to be commanding a high price.

They are tanking. Not trying to win.

2 seconds and no bad salary would be a win for Vuc.

Outside of Ingram they don't really have realistic contracts too match.

Plus Vuc is shooting horribly from 3 atm, not much of a floor spacer currently.

I don't think Vuc changes New Orlean's trajectory as a bottom 4 team this season. they've got a 4 and 5 game cushion on the teams directly ahead of them, and Murray is now out for the season.

If not for this year - they could add Vuc for next season.

You are missing something, Capela being crap.

He's the perfect fit, expiring.

I'd take him any day over Vuc if the purpose is to win games.

Capela isn't crap. Sure, he's not the player he was 2-3 years ago, but he's still a rim running rim protector who can rebound. The Bulls wouldn't improve with him either.

Either way, the Hawks wouldn't do the trade anyways.
