Butler is staying on the Heat and the ****show will likely continue.

The holdup is the very thing that is happening now. It was never about Beal. The possibility of a star shaking loose is it. The Heat kept open channels of communication and were willing to take this to the wire. Once you suspend Jimmy you no longer feel pressure to trade him immediately. It can go up the deadline before you decide on an offer. Stein says the Warriors are focused on Jimmy now that KD told them no. It appears the Heat will wait on KD's decision and then pivot if he decides he'd rather stay in with the Suns

I agree, I think it’s up to KD at this point. Hopefully Bam and Spo get him on the phone after they win tonight’s game

We'll get KD eventually even if he is just a role player at that point. Riley went after Gary Payton for years until he finally came to the 2006 Heat. :nod:

This is why you don’t spaz out w/ these movements. Miami have played it cool, waited it out & now here we are suddenly w/ an opportunity for KD. Arm chair gm’s chill, the FO are professionals w/ veins of steel. Keep the frantic & panic to your selves. Even if no KD im sure we have something else in place. We have an opportunity here & im sure we are going to be maximising that.
