Bud wasn't perfect but you could at least trust that he knows what he wants, knows what fits his system and he'd bring stability to the franchise. We do not have that anymore.

I like it, I'm not sure Dallas bites on that with Lively out but maybe they would? I think it checks a lot of boxes for us.

I respect Texas Chuck's opinion over on the T&T board and he endorsed it as a Mavs fan, so it at least isn't too crazy.

He's claiming talk of swapping Bobby for Schroder. It seems like something we'd do to be honest just because it feels like we've been sniffing around Schroder for years.

Hate it. So this will probably happen.

This one is damn interesting. The salaries essentially work and you could dump in MarJon or Delon since we can now aggregate salaries. Schroeder is a tool, but he can play.

The question is who then is our backup C?

Have you guys not paid attention to how trash Schroder has been on Golden State? Absolute nightmare trade deadline.

“For me, it’s a little bit bigger than business, it’s family,” Antetokounmpo said at shootaround Wednesday morning in Charlotte. “With a guy that I’ve won a championship with — it’s not only that I’ve won, I’ve lost a lot of times with him. I’ve been in a dark place a lot of times with him. I’ve been in the bus going to a lot of pressure situations with him. … That’s what I remember.

“Not only the good times we had … I remember all the other times that everybody was depending on us. The organization was depending on us. The city was depending on us. Our teammates were depending on us. I remember all those moments. We were able to find a way to make things happen, and we (found) a way to win a championship.

“I know it’s business, but for me, Khris is my brother. I’m going to have a relationship with him after basketball. It kind of hurts, but at the end of the day, I understand the business side of things, and I’m still going to show up to work and do my job until it’s my time to dip.

“I’ve played with Khris for 12 years. I spent incredible moments with him,” Antetokounmpo said Wednesday. “Obviously, I’m going to miss Khris. Everybody on the team’s going to miss Khris. His leadership. For me, my brotherhood with Khris is the most important thing I’ve had within this team for a lot of years.

“We’re the oldest guys. Not the oldest guys, but (we’ve) been here together for 12 years. There’s been so many moments together. I’ve been around Khris more than I’ve been around my brothers and my family. I’ve had incredible moments on the court with him. … Everybody’s gonna miss him.

Today has given me the impression that a lot of posters don’t pay a ton of attention to other teams and instead respond based on name recognition.

If you could get Williams for that poo-poo platter, I'd be stunned.

Its a coin toss whether we would get GS or Brooklyn Schroder

Don't pretend like it's a given

You all are sour tonight. I am just waiting for Doc to trade for Seth Curry so he can see his daughter.

Schroder is an expiring and Doc would trust him more than Rollins which would keep Dame's minutes below 40 minutes. There's the logic.

I expect another deal by the time I wake up. Would it be good or bad, I have no idea. But I am at the different is better, no point in being a second apron team and repeat offender (?) if you aren’t a serious contender.
