TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Atlanta Hawks have agreed to trade Jose Alvarado to the Golden State Warriors in exchange for Spencer Dinwiddie.

Trade deadline has now passed...all moves have been posted. Without question, the most uneventful trade deadline in BAF history. Teams are now pretty much set for the stretch run. Good luck to all with whatever path your franchise is on.

On some real schit tho? I almost traded him last week for Amen. I actually am the one who initiated it. This was before the trip dub in the garden he had.

I just couldn’t come off that contract…. it’s to good. I think Amen is that dude, but J Dub for 50 vs amen for like 120 ? Made more sense to keep JDub even if I think Amen is that dude.

2010 also was being a little greedy talking about god father deals he was getting. Yeah 2010 I peeped game. Lol

So it might have been different if it was just player for player. Who knows….

I figured if you were trading him for anyone it would be for Amen. Amen is the goods but so is J-dub on that $50 contract...he's an allstar.

He was asking for more than just J-dub???

I don't know 2010 if you moved Amen for J-dub I would have probably put you as the favs to win this year....thankfully that didn't happen. Looking at J-dub's splits he's like 56/50/80 in the SIM with like 67 TS% and he's 86 DEF to go along with a starting lineup of

This is true. This Amen for J-Dub swap we entertained, and one other deal, were the only trades I seriously weighed to potentially break up what has been built.

J-Dub appealed cuz of that greatly priced contract and he has the sim ratings RIGHT NOW to catapult the Raptors up another level. Where as Amen will not get his sim boost until next season.

Also, right up to the final 3 minutes of the deadline another GM and I had BLOCKBUSTER parameters in place that would have shook the room! But it wasn’t to be. Blame ribs and his slow / late responses.

Nah, nah, I didn’t ask for more than J-Dub. TC putting a lil extra juicy flavor on there. :lol:

I ain’t THAT GREEDY. But the contract after Amen’s extension would require me to add more compensation to TC. Since he would be giving up the player with higher immediate ratings and the cheaper contract (post-extension) by almost half. And rightfully so. So it ended up just being something we didn’t close on. But very close for two amazing young wings.
