On paper, not bad given the circumstances. But hard to get excited about Wiggins and PJ Tucker and a pick.

Good trade for the Heat. Wiggins was huge for Warriors and I think he will fit in well with Heat.

Ingram and Herb for Durant. We'll get it done.

Unlike Pat Riley, Mama always gets the whale/manatee.

Can’t believe it’s finally over. Apart frm him going nutty in the end i kinda miss Himmy Buckets. Thanks for everything Jimmy. A salut you out in spite of it all.
If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Beal and 3 FRPs > Wiggins, PJ Tucker and 1 FRP. They prioritized tax savings over asset building. Wiggins and Beal's contracts come off the books at the same time.

Not looking like that great of a trade anymore. Why not keep Schroeder? We need another ball handler badly. Terry is not it and Herro is getting pressured everywhere now. There needs to be a release valve to take him off ball when needed. Also what is this obsession with this corpse of a fringe basketball player in PJ Tucker? This is insanity yo bring him back here but dump Schroeder. I’m not even a Schroeder fan but he at least fits a need. Wtf is the point of PJ Tucker?

And some of you need to be a lot less emotional or lay off the crack. Wiggins is not even better than Bam or Herro, let alone Jimmy. Get out of your feelings please.

I personally love it. I really wanted Brandon Ingram but will settle for wiggins. Good defensive player who can generate his own offense and help on the boards. Perfect player to pair with Herro. Roster is set for a star PG. Honestly this roster is perfect for Trae Young

Trae
Herro
Wiggins
Bam
Ware

Enough rebounding and defense to cover Trae's weaknesses in those areas. Could see Trae and Herro getting lit up some nights though. But I think that's a team that can contend.

Not everybody. Warriors were always the most realistic trade partner. Durant was a total smokescreen

Still 15+ hours left before the deadline to make other maneuvers.

Although I'm not expecting anything happen, I do think it's reasonable to hold off on reacting to this trade until then.

So until then..

The beal contract would have been crippling. Those 3 first were garbage late picks almost 2nds. The 2025 pick we got even 1-10 protected was more valuable in a loaded draft. We opened the door to trade 3 1st. Wiggins also does not have a stupid NTC, fits the need at SF, and has a 2026 opt out

That's correct.

We get much needed wing defenders in Wiggins and Tucker, and we also get a 1st round pick.

The first round pick is for 2025 and is top-10 protected. However, if the Warriors some how get a top 10 pick this upcoming draft, we then will get their 2026 first round pick (which is also top 10 protected). If the Warriors once again luck into a top 10 pick in 2026, we then get their 2027 first round pick (which is unprotected).

Between that pick and Wiggins, I feel pretty happy about the trade. We were never going to get a haul for Jimmy, and this package makes me a lot happier than the proposed Memphis package that included Marcus Smart

I'm having real trouble with PJ Tucker. Dude is like 40 years old and he hasn't actually played damn near all season. His career is effectively done on the court.

All our roster spots are filled and no PG. Still think we have another move left. Anderson was not supposed to be part of the plans. We have no spot for him. Haywood Highsmith and Anderson are both expendable.

Nah. Those Suns picks are gonna be late 20s. I'd rather have one pick in the teens in a really deep draft then 3 bad ones. We got Bam, Herro and Ware around there. I'm looking forward to see who they pick in this year draft. Hopefully a point guard

Wiggins doesn't need to be better than any of them. He just needs to be a piece that fills a role. This team isn't going anywhere without a true #1 but you need a solid team that makes stars say "I want to go there" and you eventually get one of them.

Brother you’re stuck with Beal for 2 more seasons in purgatory and just pissed off your best player by trying to trade him to Golden State, you should be laughing at YOURSELF!!!

He’s still a dog that brings toughness to the locker room. Think of him as a better version of UD. He’s more valued for his expiring that gets us further away from tax next year. Spo will find a way to squeeze anything left out of him. Even in 5-10 specialty minutes.

The ball will be put in Wiggins hands. The goal is to make Wiggins a scorer and play maker.
