am I wrong in thinking the heat were better off letting Jimmy rot for a half season and then trade him as an expiring in the office season?

A LOT of big names off the board now. I think tomorrow will be a busy day of transactions, but it will be smaller-tier stuff. A lot of role player trades, salary dumps, cap maneuvering, and second round picks.

Maybe bigger fish like Cam Johnson or Vucevic are moved.
