Masai is going to evaluate Ingram by playing him when he comes back, in order to decide whether to pay him that 40M AAV contract. More specifically, Ingram will play next to our core of SB+IQ+RJ this season - leading to wins.

We paid more than IND 1st + SRP for Ingram. We are going to pay 2025 FRP draft position just like we did with Poeltl acquisition.

Ingram is probably as close a comparison to Siakam as you can get but plays a position we need and can also be a better go to scorer. The biggest issue with him is injuries. They did amazing with the value they got back for Siakam.

I feel like Masai been trying for his Brown and Tatum pairing - he tried with Anunoby and Siakam, then turned into Barrett and Barnes, now trying Ingram and Barnes

Ingram is a problem when healthy. Very kawhi-esque move masai. Didnt even really give up anything of crazy value either.

This is the most talented team we have had since the run it
back season. We need to draft very well this season and the youth needs to keep growing but the depth looks good. Who else in the East has this many players at every position with tons of potential?
