I haven't watched BI much in recent seasons but uh, aren't he, RJ and Scottie kinda redundant? Not the same players exactly but all 3 are better scorers driving in and finishing around the paint/midrange. I guess he and RJ are decent 3pt shooters...
Don't get the fit contractually either. BI, RJ, IQ, and Scottie is gonna be an overpaid foursome
Kinda feels like it's more logical to let one go. RJ's been a good fit tho and I don't know who'd take IQ's contract esp after this injury-plagued season
I think all 3 are different players and would occupy different real estate on the court.
RJ is a slasher and gets his going straight to the basket most of the time. He's really our only consistent downhill threat. He puts pressure on the rim any time he has the ball in his hands.
BI has a silky smooth jump shot and while I feel like he overuses his mid-range jumper...he shoots it well from 3 as well. If the coaching staff are able to get him to spot up from 3 more than inside the arc...he may unlock another level of efficiency.
Scottie is probably better in the post or mid range...but we know he loves to facilitate and he'll have another option to pass to.
