Re: Bucks News, Transactions, Trade Ideas- Deadline 2 pm CDT
As many others, I also fear we're essentially done and this will be our squad...
Honestly I think we're actually worse off than before, even with Middleton as bad as he was...
I find it real hard seeing Kuzma just turn a switch and suddenly being a vastly better player that he's been this year but maybe(hopefully?) I'm wrong.

We're not done, Horst is going to make this even worse today. We're going to end up with either Smart or Bogdan, giving up everything we have left.

44.5 inch Vert!!! That is nutssoxperry wrote:Buckfan76 wrote:I could see us do something maybe like this:
Mavs get: Brook, and AJ Green
Spurs get: Portis, and Patty C.
We get: D.Gafford, N.Marshall, D.Exum, K.Johnson, C.Bassey, 26 2nd via Philly from spurs
Exam can back up Dame. Keldon could start at the 2, Gafford could start at the 5, N.Marshall backs up Kuzma, Bassey plays a few minutes a game as a backup center.
I feel like we already acquired our lob threat big in Simms now.
Ajax is only 40

No Pat C or Brook trade fixes this?

I like that... keep Doc-proofing the rotation

A turd on the floor would be better than KM.. at least the other guy might stop to see what he stepped in.

We still have the 31 1st and 2nd plus two more 2nds now.
We are not trading the 31 1st for either of those guys outright. If we go after a player like that, we would most likely trade the 31 1st for multiple 1sts and then include one of those for a guy like Bogdan. But he might not even cost that much with the season he is having.

I cannot fathom that the front office thinks we are good now.
Btw what on earth is Toronto doing? Why would you spend draft assets on a guy like Ingram? Barnes is not who they hoped and they are one of the least talented young cores in the nba. They need to be tanking and acquiring as many picks as possible until they find a true 1A player.
Just completely fumbled the Bruce Brown asset too. That guy had real juice when he got to Toronto and they just refused to deal him apparently
Homerish to think our poo poo platter is better than the other poop they ended up getting. Ours wasn't better.

Interesting...
We are currently 9.4M above the first apron.
Pat makes 9.4M
It would come down to the numbers that got rounded.

Its not about the players, its a out the picks. We could have given better draft capital

Insomuch that there may be a plan, Kuzma and Sims seem to fit with a much more transition based system.
Brook is obviously a very poor fit for such a system, not only because he’s glacial, but because he doesn’t rebound.
For any of this to make sense, I think he has to be going out today.

Yeah, maybe, or maybe we just want to have more tools in the toolbox depending on the matchup
I will say, having a guy like Brook seems less important when Embiid is irrelevant and we dont have to go through Jokic.

Not a good one.
I just hope he is one of three, I don't care if it is smart, efficient, or a basketball player.

Still need a starting SG. No way Ajax and/or Green are good enough to be a starting SG on a contending team.
