No way any one can look at this kid and not see money! He's solid. And gonna be a fantastic defender ! If he gets his 3 dialed in at more than average and gets a few moves down he'll be Trevor Ariza plus!

George has better playmaking and passing chops than Trevor. I was thinking more along the lines of a Derrick White.

Trevor was more of a SF/PF while White and George are more SF/SG.

BTW, Ariza was one of my fav players. He was a defensive savant.

Kyshawn reminds me a bit of Deni on D, using size and position to throw off the shooter while staying down on pump fakes.

He is pretty serious about ball denial too. As I was typing this watching the game he was denying Conley the ball out near the logo which blew up their play.

I still say Kyle Anderson is the best comp. Like Anderson, George is effective defensively without being particularly athletic or explosive. And, like Anderson, George has a good handle and high enough basketball IQ to run an offensive set.

George has better shooting form and looks like the better shooter. But it remains to be seen if George actually pans out as a reliable shooter.

Over the last 20 games he's shooting 35% from 3. Certainly a welcome change since that has been his biggest weakness.

This group needs to make their threes to be effective. Sarr without a three point shot is a complete bust. So is Bilal. So is Kyshawn (to a lesser extent). When their threes fall they are amazing. Encouraging to see that they can occasionally make them. Now they just need to be more consistent.

Kyshawn has some serious moxie! He won't back down from anyone. Was mixing it up with Draymond earlier this season too. He can become a fan favorite for sure. I'm definitely enjoying the direction of this rebuild.

After starting his rookie year slowly, Kyshaun has gone 37 for 74 on 3's over the last month -- 50%.
So far in February, he's 17 for 33.

On the season, he's 83% from the line (9-11 in February).

Overall, Kyshaun is posting a 68.7% TS% so far in February! Wow...!

It’s Kyshawn and not Kyshaun.

George came to the Zards as a highly touted 3pt shooter. He struggled out the gate but appears to have found his groove. That’s a great last month of 3pt shooting.

What’s been most impressive—and somewhat surprising—is Kyshawn D. Uses his length and smarts extremely well. He’s also a good ball handler and passer.

Looks like Kyshawn is going to be a quality 3&D player.
