Riley is keeping PJ. Anderson was never supposed to be part of the deal so he's the one that's most likely getting shipped out. Probably haggling over compensation with teams right now.

Hope so, getting out of tax is huge.

Im not happy nor mad at the trade, just what was expected, but what I can say is that at least we have a clear direction and hopefully we will be out of the damn middle of the pack soon. Its going to be a couple of fun years watching this youngsters develop. Im hoping we can get that star player and be legit contenders by 2027 or 2028.

I share the same feeling lol. Probably being dangled to get out of the Anderson contract but will open up a lot of avenues in the buyout market with the open roster spot and reset the repeater clock a year early.

It’s a shame Fox spurned his wife’s wishes and went to San Antonio, him here at PG with this group would’ve been fun

His wife actually loved it in Sacramento. The fox was never smelled in Miami

A Fox/ Herro/ Wiggins/ Bam/ Ware/ Jovic/ JJJ/ Larsson/ KJohnson/ 2025 FRP and even still Duncan and Highsmith team would have been fun as hell!!!!

Getting Fox would have not been that far-fetched either. What a shame! Who else can we slide into that slot in the next year or two!?

Duncan has got to be thrilled about PJ Tucker coming back. Those two were oddly close lol

Think the trade hasn't been offical from the NBA because Miami might be still trying to move either PJ/KA to get under the luxury tax. Until than keeping my fingers cross.
Riley is keeping PJ. Anderson was never supposed to be part of the deal so he's the one that's most likely getting shipped out. Probably haggling over compensation with teams right now.

I think they want to get under inorder to have enough to be able to sign Isaiah Thomas toward the end of the season were he come in below the tax. He than get some playing time to prove that he deserve that min contract which opens up another 2way player.

No way. This team prefers bigger defensive guards who can D up. They had it in Dru Smith. Will be looking for something similar. More POA defender type.

How we Feeling Fam? Hopefully they find a way to get under tax by 3:00PM mission accomplished then. We can look at the buyout market maybe pick something up that will hold us up until 2026.

Summary of trade dumping Schroder to jazz and it involved a 2nd round swap and we got PJ. Seems they were gonna buyout PJ if no one offered anything so they just took a 2nd round swap which is about as cheap as it gets. And they seem to think they can flip schroder into another 2nd or 2nd swap.

Who can we get for Tucker/Anderson and a small sweetner?

It will probably mean taking less money then sending out, and he needs to be a POA defender that can hit shots and handle.

What a colossal beep up by our front office. Accountability for thee but not for me is our motto. No one will get fired or demoted from our front office for this spectacular bleep up.

So Jimmy got the money he wanted, and now gets to play with Curry. Its really hard to spin that as a loss for him.

We got Wiggins who salary goes into 2026 and PJ Tucker. Wiggins is not bad. The pick wont be high value, and those thinking magically two mid picks this year can get you a lottery pick are straight up delusional. The most important thing is getting under the tax, thats something that will be a Win for Mickey pocket.

Honestly this whole mess could have easily been avoided by trading him earlier.

Unless someone randomly comes available only trade for an all star level PG I see is Trae who expires in 2026. Other than that we’ll likely just sit on our hands until 2026 free agency where Luka Trae and Fox will be free agents although it’s likely Fox stays

*reports come out team wants to preserve 2026 cap*
Flash: why would we do that, thats stupid?!

*team takes back Wiggins who cuts in to 2026 cap*

Look, if its not one thing its another. Had we traded Jimmy earlier you would have just found a way to complain about the return, because thats your schtick. We got a serviceable player at a position of need and a moveable contract, and what projects to be a pick in the mid teens. Considering our recent draft history, I will take those odds.

Might not be a sexy name but looking at Jevon Carter right now on the Bulls.

I binged watch a good chunk of YouTube videos on wiggins....man this dude is going to fit....dude looks like Duncan with the amount of dribble hand offs he has gotten. Plus he is a bigger threat to attack the basket than Duncan.

In one of the videos (not sure what year we are talking about) he was 44% on catch and shoot 3s, and they had him in the 91 percentile at put backs. So at least at some point in his career he was picking up the trash in GS high volume 3 point offense.

I get that the dude probably is not going to give us Prime Jimmy flashbacks...but he does some of the stuff we like to do, I also could get expecting him to come in and do peak Duncan stuff might be too big an ask....but we all know the best Duncan is the Duncan that hits most of his first 4 shots, or is the bench Duncan....at least Wiggins can stay on the court if his shots are not falling.
