Rozier for Smart works and would save Miami close to $5M. Just sayin'

PHX has gone too far with the KD thing - they will lose him for nothing in 26 and his value will only tank from here. They have to trade him and clearly KD has messaged he's not signing extension. Watch for the Spurs or Houston to go all in but man, Miami can all the sudden be a top 5 contender for the next 3 years rolling out a lineup of:

Ware
Bam
KD
Wiggins
Herro

they could continue to expand the trade and send young guys, salary and picks... *shrug*

Look at the Cavs doing work. Thats a very solid pickup.

Cavs 25 champs?

Feels like a move to combat SGA.

Shoutout to the Cavs GM, 1st seed and still went out and grabbed a 3 and D guy who’s averaging nearly 20.

Hope everyone is seeing the importance of 2nd round picks by the way

I respect the move for CLE and think it will help them. BUt, I object to Hunter being called a 3&D player. Dude has had the 2nd worst DRTG on the Hawks among the top 8 minute getters behind only Trae Young for each of the past 3 seasons.

Hunter has always been a player that has the look of a defender without actually being one. He does hunt buckets tho

Would be nice to finally have a DPOY level player on the roster.

Agreed. I don't think Memphis goes for it without draft compensation, though.

Like what are the Hawks doing?! Johnson out for the year, Hunter gone, Capela and bogdan on the trade block, Trae hasn’t signed an extension and is a free agent after next year and you all suck. It’s time to do what Sacramento did, Miami actually has the defenders now to easily fit around Trae and Herro and then you see where you’re at in 2026 and go from there. Trae is only 26, he torches the Celtics too.

I think Jimmy Suspension cost him about $3M and the Heat have a tax bill of around $4.285M so at least they can recover some money. Heat told Jimmy Show me the money, show me the money.lol

So no 11th hour move to get under the tax? Is this a disaster for our plans moving forward or NBD? If it just means saving Micky money I don't care, but if it messes up our roster construction bleugh.

Now pick up Bruce Brown in the buyout market and we completed the defensive exodia.

NGL Godfather cooked, we reverted back to a menace team defensively.
