Seriously though, he looked pretty damn good before he got hurt and has a team option for the minimum that would be smart to pick up. Having said that, I can see Masai waiving him while I make this point lol.

No, this doesn't move the needle, but it's a free look at a big guy with talent.
Some people on this forum wanted us to sign him this off-season. Now we not only get to see him with our young squad, we also were paid to do so.

He's out for the season.

I guess for the Raptors it gives them a cheap team option to consider for next year. They can see how the rest of the roster plays out and evaluate if it makes sense to get him at $2.6 for next year.
