also i feel like KPJ is a guy you can have on your roster when your culture is set by Doc, Giannis and Dame. A bit harder when it's Kawhi and Harden. Not that they are bad guys.. I dont think they are necessarily culture setting leaders.

I think you can make the case the Bucks traded for the two of the worst players in the NBA this season.

What a terrible trade deadline.

What is the point of going through the machinations of getting under the 2nd apron and then reaping none of the benefits that come from it? We traded our only young player with potential to gain flexibility and then we didn’t use the flexibility. Just insane stuff.

Additionally, maybe Mids gets hurt. Maybe not. Maybe Kuzma has a freak injury. Tough to predict these things. We do know that Khris is like 9 months removed from putting up 25/9/5 while hobbled looking like Billy Dafoe running through Nam in Platoon. Anyone who thinks trading him doesn’t “lower our playoff ceiling” is delusional. He played 200% better in the playoffs last year than Kyle Kuzma has in his life.

Add 3 younger athletic players who would thrive in transition, while holding on to plodding dinosaurs in the frontcourt and trading away the young PG who would also thrive in transition. While still being pretty much devoid of the big wing defender we’ve needed since PJ left. It’s all so incoherent. There pretty clearly is no plan.

You don’t do that Khris trade without the follow up lined up. Just ridiculous. GTFO Horst.
Please reconsider your animal consumption.

Dam Barkley liked our moves the most with Cavs getting Hunter says of kuzma and porter jr gives us more athleticism. Here’s to hoping he’s right lol

Ok, so what are the Bobby and Brook extensions gonna look like? Because we're not really gonna be stupid enough to let those dudes walk for absolutely nothing, right?

We absolutely did get more athletic. The play will look different. Time will tell if we got better or not.

I had oodles of spicy takes ready to go and couldn't access the site all day -- and now I can't remember them.

This a million times over. We have no plan and we continue to look more and more amateur season after season. Really sad state of affairs at the moment. Brook and Bobby fit terribly with our new additions…Like you said, no GM with an actual plan would do that Khris/AJJ trade without logical moves following. The Milwaukee Bucks don’t operate on logic. This was all about saving money. I hate to be proven right in this instance but it is what it is.

He's 100% correct that the Bucks are more athletic now. Hopefully that translates to contributing to wins instead of just being able to run and jump like a bunch of Potsies out there.

Yep, if they had followed up the Kuzma nonsense with some sort of move to pick up a Deandre Hunter type wing or Rob Williams type athletic defensive big I could understand the vision, kinda. But they did none of it. No athletic big, no starting wing to replace Prince (seriously, it is beyond embarrassing he's starting for us, same with Dre), no 3rd creator. They dumped Khris to duck the 2nd apron, got two dumb inefficient chuckers, and called it a day.

All fair, I'm pretty grossed out with the deadline. I just don't have it in me to outrage about sports anymore. I think it's crazy to think Mids could hold up for 16 wins though. He was about be taken off in a stretcher at the end of the game 6 last year, that was before the two ankle surgeries and losing his last bit of lateral movement

Sixers/Warriors home games on deck. Embiid back. Jimmy and Steph. I'd love to go but it's a B2B (**** you Silver) and Giannis is banged up again. I'm not sure I want to pony up the cash.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.
