This video is brought to you by … Ariel Hukporti, I think. Or his agent.

Excellent statistical breakdown on him though clearly on a small sample size.

only 55 minutes in and I agree with what this guy says...its what I saw in Huk. He has that hunger, fearlessness and confidence in
his spirit. He has all of this even though he suffered a Torn left Achilles about 29 months ago...Mitch better watch his back and get to workThe Hulk is coming...

55 minutes in!? Did you get the extended version?
But yeah if Huk can keep fulfilling that potential Mitch days could be numbered. But if Mitch can do what he does while healthy, he'll get a us a very nice bench piece in return.....

thebuzzardman wrote:Nice thing about Hukport is that the ball doesn't stick. He gets the ball and makes pretty quick decisions, usually good ones. Some of early games some of the passes were sloppy and got picked off but that's probably adjusting to the NBA/any young player stuff.
Feels like a sign of good scouting and team building as the Knicks identified talent, but also a system style, one they've been working towards over the last few years.
Team oriented, cut well, fundamentally sound, ball doesn't stick, above average passing for the position, willing defender, willing to accept a role, not hogging the ball\bad shot selection, plus outside shooter (less important for the bigs but they absolutely wanted a stretch 5), multi positional ability on offense and/or defense, when they can get it
These seem to be who the Knicks seek out.
Not every guy works out or is talented enough to succeed, but most of these attributes exist in players they've signed, traded for or drafted
Brunson
Hart
Divo
IQ
OG
Precious
Grimes
Deuce
KAT
Bridges
Dadiet
Kolek
Hukporti
McCullars
Payne (minus shot selection)
Shamet
They have a type.

Context is a maximalist. They'll do 12 donuts before they park their car.
