A lot better than Garza.

Flagrant howls said that in 6:36 Garza played they scored 23 consecutive points. Now maybe we got a stop or two in that stretch, but Garza was a -7 and the next worst wolf was -2. Garza cannot play with Dilly or Jingles and should not play at all.

All the teams on the play-off bubble made significant trades. You would expect SAS jumps back in play-in with Fox without giving up anything. GSW is counting on Butler. There is going to be two very disappointed teams out west that won't make the play-in. HOU is too far up to fall that low. It feels like it's the Wolves and GSW.

@Shrink or some other cap knowledge person. Hoopshype says we want Ben Simmons on the buyout market. My understanding is he makes too much money for that to be CBA legal. Am I missing something?

I doubt it. Just because teams made moves doesn’t mean they will make runs. SAS and GSW both need time to gel, the Suns didn’t improve, injuries will be a factor, and the Clippers seem ripe for a fall. I think we probably end 5-7 and really want 6th. 6th is the spot with IMO the best road to the WCF. No play in, no OKC until WCF, and I like our odds against the Griz or Rockets in the playoffs.

The guy at Hoopshype misread the article. Here is the actual content:

However, due to a wrinkle in the new CBA, the Nets floor general would not be eligible to sign with teams over the first apron, as his salary exceeds the non-taxpayer mid-level exception ($12.8 million).

Those teams include the Phoenix Suns, Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Celtics, New York Knicks, Los Angeles Lakers, Milwaukee Bucks and Denver Nuggets.

I didn't realize it was season ending, Id sign Wiseman and let him rehab.

Moses Brown will work. Anything that resembles 7', athletic that can rebound, catch lobs, and defend the paint, with some weight on him.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
