Perhaps coincidental since JB and KP are besties, but I can't stand either of their games lol. More White and less cookie n cream in the 2nd half. Joe can stay in back too.

Its a facade. When they play to their capability and stomp teams it inflates their net rating defensive rating etc. They were playing better as of late. This game is trash.

Klay shooting EN Fuego
& we’re losing turnovers 8-2
That’s a moral victory!!
We should be down 15 or 20 with Klay shooting 10-13 for the half
I’m liking our chances in the secondhalf, being only down 11

What is it about the Celtics defense? At the rate they're going, the Mavs will only score 134 points after 48 minutes.

At that rate ... the Mavs will only end up as NBA Champions. Interesting that Celtics just proved the Mavs contenders.

Time to wake up. The Celtics are getting outshot:

Mavs are 21-31 (67%) from 2 point range. Celtics are a more pedestrian 46% (12-26).

The Celtics also have 6 more Turnovers (2 for Mavs vs 8 for Celtics). That won't get a win.

The Celtics need to outshoot the Mavs from 2 and 3 in the 2nd Half, and NOT TURN THE BALL OVER more than 3 times total in H2.

Tough ask, but that's what it will take.

This team having a meh home court vs best in the league last year is a huge concern. That cost them Finals berths and finals wins numerous years.

AND THEY GOTTA PLAY SOME DEFENSE. Like HOLD THE MAVS to 45 2nd Half points or less.
