well the big piece everyone thought would be traded, Cameron Johnson - is still a net, and then all hell broke loose otherwise - so I was pretty far off haha.

Nope.

Expected POR and ORL to make moves.

I had 95% of Pels Toronto:
If there is a deal with Toronto, I think it would be:
Pels In: Brown, Olynyk, lower of TOR/IND ‘26 1st
Raps In: Ingram, Theis

https://forums.realgm.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2434936

Pels got an extra ‘31 2nd, but had to send a ‘31 second to ship Theis to OKC instead of Toronto.

No one was close. Doncic and AD got traded.

Kind of thought Schroeder being dumped onto Detroit made sense if the Warriors made a big trade. They did, but he basically went to Utah. I then posted about he really didn’t make sense for Detroit and how “if they wanted him, he would have already been a Piston” since they were part of that trade.

Realgm uncrashes and Dennis is a Piston. So not close, quite the opposite.

Did shoot down zimpy27(s) Duren to the Lakers idea, since it didn’t make sense for Detroit. The Lakers got their big from a team that is re-rebuilding, that makes sense for them to do

And I think I said it could be done without RJ? Or at least had the value as the Indy first. Think that was before I shifted to trying to get Ingram or RJ to Dallas, not sure if I even posted a trade.

A lot has changed….

I nailed Wiseman and cash to any team! But also, anyone could have nailed it, too!

Most Pacers regulars didn't expect anything other than a Wiseman dump which did happen. I made no predictions for other teams.

Think about 30 posters suggested Wiggins for Butler based deal…. Not sure how many of us suggested Dennis into Det cap space. But I can at least put myself on the list? Maybe near the top of it?

Was one of the first few Dallas fans to accept trading Grimes because Dallas wouldn’t pay him.. well before the Luka trade.. though I definitely didn’t see them trading him and a second for a more injured more expensive player who is a few years older.. (Luka trade?)

I mostly agree with Kalamazoo, although I'm not hung up on the "ability to score serious points" . I don't want to ask for the moon, but the current situation where the team is at risk of falling apart any time Cade gets a breather is not sustainable and could well cost us a play-in spot.

My ideal would be a backup PG who is a decent game manager, is happy coming off the bench, can hit an open shot, can drive to the rim against single coverage, not a complete pylon on D.

would detroit take schroder for free

that reminds me; this was my one good guess this TDL from Jan 10

Definitely expected my beloved Pistons to do something bigger and splashier, but walking away with picking up a player that serves a role we clearly desperately need while giving up literally nothing; pretty hard to be mad at that. They played it smart and safe and my tinfoil hat theory is that they're chasing a certain someone that will be available in the summer.

It went down exactly as I predicted with several exceptions.
Jordan Walsh > Lonnie Walker
