Love it.
There’s not really a role for it if everyone’s healthy, but seems like his best case is to make some of us fondly remember James Posey?

No we need one more solid vet like Craig and somehow have Cassell be our coach.

Can’t quite get there myself, but happy to be wrong and be even remotely reminded of him.

Craig is a 3/4, would love the Celtics to get a vet 2/3 now. These guys won’t play a lot but will provide depth

Always thought he was a decent bench guy when he was in Denver.

Haven’t really seen much of him since.

Hopefully he can give some quality minutes when Hauser is bad or we need to bench a slow big

I'm not expecting much from him.

It will be a pleasant surprise if he ends up being better than Sam.

Would much rather have promoted Drew Peterson to a full NBA contract or even kept Jaden Springer instead. But at least Wyc Grousbeck is going to save some money so that's nice.

Out with an ankle injury. Latest injury update I saw was January 13..it said he'd be re-evaluated in 2 weeks.

So he possibly could have been healthy enough to play by end of january. But hasn't played since then..either because the injury is taking longer for recovery or Chicago knew they were gonna waive him so he could go join a contender - and so they could give more mins to their young guys like Buzelis, Terry and Phillips.

So knock on wood, he may be back to 100% by now..but I'm sure we'll get an official update on that in the next day or 2.

I don't think anyone is expecting that to happen.

He's here to be Hauser's backup..be a deep bench wing..give us some mins here and there when another wing 3/4 type guy is needed for some added depth..and if Hauser is sitting out here and there to rest his back..

Plus, he could provide some veteran leadership. Give some guidance to some of younger guys - especially our younger wings like Scheierman, Walsh, Peterson. Give them some tips on being a 3&D guy.

Our top 9 guys are set in stone. If things break right for Craig, he could end up being a solid 10th man.

If things don't go right (Holiday, Hauser hurt) then Craig could be the Celtics 8th guy and that's the whole point. Depth, Insurance.

Played really well in Phoenix during their very short playoff run.

Yeah, that's why I'm not expecting much.

Sam is a specialist.
Besides shooting, very limited in other areas.

If Craig can score on drives to the basket and make open 3s then he might end up ahead of Sam on the playoff depth chart.

I have no reaction.
I’d rather play Walsh.
I guess you got sign somebody.
