Well the 3s finally stopped falling, it was a nice 3.5 games of 50% shooting from distance, but it finally abandoned everyone not named Lebron and Gabe tonight

The rule states the BALL has to advance over the midcourt line within 8 seconds. Should've been a violation.

This is what the rule states:

A team shall not be in continuous possession of a ball which is in its backcourt for more than 8 consecutive seconds.

Chuck: “So close to my dream finish, Lakers to lose.”

Yeah, he’s not biased at all. This is the same guy that can’t stand Skip Bayless LOL.

Lakers fans write down what I’ve been saying the last few days so when I tell ignorant ass people in the playoffs this: no team in the league is equipped to deal with LeBron/Luka. He’s 40 and can literally flip a switch still any time. He’s getting a pissed off peak Luka who can drop 30/10/10 in his sleep. Lakers about to get nasty.

Bring Luka off the bench. LeBron doesn’t need him. He’s gone full thanos mode.

They have a pathway to the Finals, if they can gel and stay healthy.

Before I explain to you why you're wrong, you should just stop and take the L now.

But you're actually proving your own point wrong. POSSESSION just means which team the ball belongs to, not necessarily literally that the Laker has to be HOLDING the ball. Your example of the ball being out of Vincent's hands doesn't change the possession. It's still Lakers possession, unless the Warriors gain possession of the ball. Seeing as how the Warriors did not gain possession, and though not specifically in Vincent's hands, it's still considered possession in the rule book.

Again, how is this rule that's been around for decades so unclear to you?!

6-0 without AD/Luka since January, 8th best record in the NBA, 2 wins away from HCA: yeah, Lakers are legit, they basically made a playoff switch without Davis lately.

Vincent playing like a great role player again for two months now is huge for Lakers going forward.

My team is trash. I'm a Lakers bandwagon fan the rest of the season. See you in the playoffs champ. 8-)

Longevity isn’t the only determination for GOAT status. They didn’t have the medical advances back in the 90s that they do today, that’s why you have players like LeBron, KD, Curry, Lillard CP3 etc all playing at pretty high levels even in their mid to late 30s.

I usually like to err on pessimism but it's hard to imagine how you defend the Lakers if they are healthy.
