I've seen enough. Would love this guy on our team. Would address so many of our needs... and just fun to watch.

Danny GSWolf

Jesus, I'm getting strong Troy Murphy vibes. He looks good but also looks like a guy whose game might not translate well to the NBA in 2025.

LOL, I am watching Michigan Vs. Purdue right now and all I can think of is Troy Murphy when watching him and the commentators were talking about Wolf in the NBA and they compared him to none other than....Troy Murphy!

He was terrible by the way. 4pts, 2reb, 3ast and 4TO

That would be incredible. He's top 5 on my board.

If we get enough Montverde guys, will we start playing like a team?
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

Thomas Sorber was one of my favorite mid-late first guys, but I have a feeling he's going to climb into late lotto... reminds me of a healthy Loon that is told to let it fly on the offensive end.

Would love to get Jojo Tugler with 2nd rounder (although he may creep into the 1st since his shooting mechanics are decent + the success of Ryan Dunn this year). That dude is a defensive monster causing mayhem (and fouls) all over the place.

Agree,

I like him and Adou Thiero who has already started climbing up in the first round. They both need to work on their shooting but do a lot of other things at a high level.

He reminds me of Al Horford. And he can probably touch his knees without bending

Sorber dominating again. He's going to end up top 10.

I'd probably vote to blow it up if it meant leaving this draft with Fears and Sorber. Thats my dream scenario for an instant rebuild.

If it was possible to trade Kuminga for this guy straight up, would you?

If we had been tanking all along it would be so in our grasp.

Honestly might be better off getting a top 10 pick if this draft is as loaded as they say, rather than the Heat getting the pick this year.

But Warriors will probably end up in the 11-15 range and lose the pick.

Warriors are currently tied with the Kings but presumably because of tiebreakers, they are #12 in the draft order and the Warriors are #13.

https://www.tankathon.com

So 5.7% odds of getting a top 4 pick, 1.2% odds of getting the top pick.

What is the lowest draft order team to win the top pick in the draft lottery in this current format?

Or the lowest draft order team to make the top 4?

Of course you can't rely on ping pong balls but we've seen teams get top slots, moving way up, when it's convenient for the NBA.

League isn't predisposed to helping the Warriors these days, crafted the CBA just to weaken teams like the Warriors, with older roster of expensive players.

Still if this is suppose to be the strongest draft class in the next 3 years while they owe Miami an FRP for this Butler trade, this might be the year to tank.

Honestly, the team needs a top 10 pick more than to get into the playoffs.

They have such a shortage of guys who can shoot jumpers or finish well at the rim.

All those missed layups.

Nobody reliably can shoot an open 3, except Curry and Moody sometimes.

They need higher end talent than to go into the playoffs relying on Podz or anyone not named Curry to hit an open shot.

Jury is still out on the Butler trade but one thing is for sure, they could use more top 10 picks, though their drafts in the last 5-10 years don’t inspire confidence.

I'm trading up for Miles Byrd or drafting Tyrese Proctor in the 2nd round
Most 4th Quarter Points in Final since 1991
1995 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5
2000 Shaquille O'Neal 11.5 (61.1% TS)
2015 Stephen Curry 10.8 (75.1% TS)
1997 Michael Jordan 10.7 (55.1% TS)
1998 Michael Jordan 10.6 (50.6% TS)
2011 Dirk Nowitzki 10.3 (68.0% TS)

Warriors are #13 currently in the draft order, with 4.8% chance of getting a top 4 pick.

I'm not sure what the odds are to get a top 10 pick and keep their FRP this year.

They are currently #10 in the WC, 3.5 games behind #6 Clippers but only 1 full game ahead of the Suns which would see them fall out of the last play-in spot.

They have a relatively easy schedule and they've been openly talking about finishing #6, which would possibly mean a first round matchup vs. Grizzlies, Nuggets, Rockets, Lakers or Clippers.

They've done okay vs. Rockets but not so good against any of the other teams.

So what's the point? If they finish #6, the pick would be in the 19-23 range and it would go to Miami. If they finish #10, the pick would be 13-14 and go to Miami, unless they got lucky in the lottery and it fell in the top 10.

Then they'd have to play to get into a 1-8 matchup vs. Clippers, Kings, Wolves, Mavs, Suns. They've done okay vs. Wolves but not okay vs. the others.

It's quite obvious what's the best move for this franchise, which is to tank and get a top 10 pick in a strong draft this year.

I don't know what the 2025-26 draft class is like but probably better to give up the pick that year to Miami.

Miles Byrd would be awesome in the 2nd round.

Watching SDST also made me laugh at a call their announcer uses... their center court logo literally extends to the 3 point line where the aztec arrow is. So there is like a narrow section of the logo basically at the 3 point line. And when someone shoots from it, he will go "from the logo" which always makes me laugh since their foot is basically on the 3 point line and not some insane Curry logo shot.
