Not what he is known for but he does have a respectable for a guard DBPM of 2.2 and what looks like a near 7’ wingspan

God Squad wrote:It's interesting that the addition of Ingram does complicate things draft-wise. If you draft Bailey/Coop/VJ? do you trade RJ or bench the rookie? Anyway, I think Bobby/Masai did good work at this deadline. Add a top 8 pick to this team and it begins to resemble an actual young core or something you can work with.

As someone who's been a huge advocate for Ace, Ingram can essentially do all the things I was projecting/hoping he'd come and do.
But like someone else said for now anyone beside Cooper is coming off the bench and eventually you'd look towards moving RJ or maybe quick if we draft Harper

I don't get the Kon Kneuppel love either. He doesn't look very athletic nor does he project to be a dynamic scorer.

I like Tre Johnson much more. Tre has had more big scoring games than Kon and while Kon is playing behind Cooper Flagg...nothing he does stands out to me as a must-draft lottery pick.

I think he's like a bigger Austin Reaves. Reaves had to stay in school but I watched his head to head game vs Cade and was like damn, he is just a player even though below the rim.

He'd be a great glue guy for San Antonio at #10 or 11.

Freshman Kon Knueppel weirdly has a pretty similar production profile to Freshman Gradey Dick, except Knueppel has a better free throw rate and assist to turnover ratio, while Gradey had better stocks and rebounding rates.

He's a bucket getter but he's not bad defensively. Slightly above average for his position?

I'm gonna be honest man.

It's his .... appearance. Just screams bust.

Half kidding.

He's gonna be a solid role player though. Kid can shoot.

Braden Smith 9 assists 1 turnover and 4 steals in 1st half against USC is now 59.7% rim finishing on year after going 2/2 on layups.

If I have to take Kneuppel at 7, I'm definitely trading down for McNeely or Thiero

He should've been dropped a while ago but since he's a freshman and on Duke, they waited.

Ja’Kobe and Bryant need to be on the same team.

We couldn't make Dino-Sarr happen. Ja'Kobe Bryant still in play.

Is it just me or does he move a bit like Tatum? Obviously a poor man's Tatum and probably doesn't have the same handles as him.

I'd go Maluach.

Would make Poeltl expendable in the summer as well.

Tre would be a nice get for sure but we have a long list of combo guards/wings now - Ingram, Walter, Dick, Ochai

Of course, BPA is always the way to go but I have Tre and Maluach in the same tier. So Maluach gets the edge for me, because he fills a position of need and our center position is razor thin right now.

Wouldn't pay too much mind to Tankathon. Most mocks still have him in their top 8, rightfully so.

He hasn't even been able to showcase his full arsenal (i.e., his shooting ability from mid-range and behind the arc) because Jon Scheyer keeps him pinned in the paint. Similar to how Edey wasn't allowed to take threes in Purdue even though he had it in his backpocket.

Khaman can shoot. Dude's gonna be a beast.

Carter Bryant seems like he’d get along quite well with Scottie

Im not against Maluach either....He hasn't had the best season numbers wise but he deff looks like a guy we could develop long term...Only thing is if we are really trying to go from being a 20-25 win team to a playoff team next season Maluach will not impact the team enough next season to do so....It would likely take a few seasons for him....But i also feel if we are picking that high we can prolly trade down for Maluach since his stock is not that high right now
