Nice effort not getting blown out. Hopefully the young guys learn how to not foul as much.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Yes that's Ace Bailey. Of course he would be a better asset the BI, because Ace is not injury prone nor does he cost $40M+

we don't have Ace Bailey yet....so better to get a proven older Ace

yeah I guess if BI signs for 3 years then the risk is less. IQ is looking like an albatross of a contract though

Exactly, The Thunder have won 33 of their games this year by double digits.

it's too early to say...he didn't do too bad, but he's shown his limitations against better teams

IQ's contract will look better when he's not playing through injury.

Which uh...why the hell is he doing that? Scottie's not banged up but if he was then at least you get why i.e. 30% of the cap next year as opposed to 25%. IQ's incentives are not only less significant but they're stuff that he cannot get this year like an All-Star nod.

I still hold out hope that he's still a bit injured... He was awesome in his first game and last season before the injury. In any case, his contract is flat so declined as a % of the cap each year.

This was something I noticed not long after acquiring him. In my mind, I had this wrongful conception that he was Tyrese Maxey-lite, but then I found out real "Quickly" that he can't get by his man at all, and that he was far more suited as an off-ball shooter.

yeah, never had that type of foot speed or explosion. really better being set-up rather than being expected to consistently create his own shot. that's hopefully where he'll play well off BI.

i'm definitely ok to do an upgrade at PG....

IQ is ok a 25M a year, but not 32.5M, Orlando and Spurs inflated his market

he's also going up against a good defensive team

Jakobe will be that guy who'll be a top tier role players in a couple of seasons, gotta develop him.

I'm still high in Gradey but not star level high.

Siakam is starting to get disrespected too much for my liking

Not hating on Pascal at all. Just honestly believe that BI is the naturally more talented player. A lot smoother, has the wiggle with the dribble, and can shoot from both 3 and the midrange.

I mean pascal is 50/40 player right now

Definitely harder when missing 3 starters but he sure looks snakebitten atm.

lol… already the expectations have changed. I said this would happen earlier this season. Sucks that we still don’t have a legit star. I hope we hit on the draft

First of all, it's a pleasure to meet you. Before I quote my signature, note that I've been viewing Scottie as a defence-minded (first) type of player since before he played an NBA game. And now, to quote my signature. You will notice the lack of change. I'd love for him to be more of a scorer. But a net neutral scorer, who can play above average POA D or drop-back rover/free safety, still net you 10-ish assists and flirt with triple doubles fairly often, on a more talented roster.

"08-14-'21:
(re: Scottie Barnes)
-Top 3 Raptors of all-time, 5+ ASG, Min 1 All-NBA 1st /2nd,Min 3 All-Def 1st or 2nd team, between years 2-3 in the running for best current player on our roster, best Raptor on the team, multiple years in a row"

Those predictions are too lofty for what Barnes now projects to be imo.
