Just be patient. He's only 20 so you'll see many more. He's averaging 20+ points over his past 6 games. He's scoring on 3 levels. Diming. Moving off ball seemingly non-stop tiring the defense.

There's something there when he gets to play with LaMelo. Gives LaMelo a sliver of space and a little less blanket defense. Helps LaMelo's been driving but NSJ is starting to command attention in the scouting report, and still getting to his spots and breaking down the defense with his quick dribble.

Most of it is confidence and reps.

He was a top player in high school.

This is a serious prospect we're developing here.

Was also a projected top 3 pick before he screwed his knee up. I can see him getting some votes for 6th man of the year in the next couple years. I’ve always been high on him and wanted Duke to recruit him hard.

I remember him starting the year 4th on Tankathon, then just kept dropping. I don't follow HS, just know that Duke gets all the best players while UConn recruits learn how to win, and UConn wins more than Duke. Because it's a better basketball program.

Hopefully this is not a rerun of Cody Martin vs. Malik Monk.

Let the poor defender lift the offense.

Fun game and prety good game by everybody for the most part. I mean as a team we shot 46%, 44% from 3, and 100% from the ft line. Good thing because we needed every point.

Junior is improving, looking like the game is slowing down for him as he’s gaining experience and NBAIQ. No guarantees but he may well be part of the longer term answers here. Quality depth just as important as having some stars. Has certainly outplayed Green of late, but then Green really hasn’t found himself within this team yet. May never do so.

Great win to pull this out. They deserved it!
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Just hit me we finally won one on an inbounds play. A new era begins.

That was a much needed morale booster. We've lost so many of these winnable games this season. To win this one after the trades we made and with melo Coming back from injury has to feel pretty good. We defended Victor about as well as she possibly can. Games probably not even close if Castle isn't playing out of his mind.

Miles has been playing great lately and still just 26. Just saying.

Hopefully that can get him some offseason trade value. Terry was 26 when we got LaMelo and it’s pretty clear they were never on the same timeline. If we get someone worth building around in this draft Miles absolutely needs to be gone. The worst thing we could do is chase 35 wins next season with a Ball/Bridges core and mess up our best chance to put pieces next to our upcoming rookie the same way Rozier and Hayward messed up LaMelos and Miles build.

Of course if we get unlucky and end up with Kon Knuppel or whatever then it doesn’t matter

I couldn’t watch the game because of the aforementioned Austin blackouts but gotta give props to the g league program they are running down there, seems like whoever goes down there gets better and quickly.

I don't see why we would want to get rid of Bridges now. We took the PR hit last year, he has a team friendly deal, Melo loves him and once he got into shape this season he has been by far our most consistent player.

You can tell by the way his teammates respond to him they respect him. And Lee has been praising him as a leader on and off the court. He has reformed and matured. He is a veteran.

If we were to trade him, it wouldn't be so some GM could devalue him based on anything outside his court and clubhouse value. If they want to factor that, negotiations don't go far at all.

He's playing professionally, committing on both ends of the floor, loves it here, and is sick of losing.

Last night was probably the most satisfying win of his career and for everyone rooting for him, from the fans who roared, the teammates who celebrated and smothered him with appreciation, and for the coach who sees him firsthand as a leader.
