Joel may be dealing with depression over his knee and facing not only an end to his dominant career but also facing lifelong disability. Team isn't doing him any favors pretending this season is salvageable rather than shutting him down and trying to help him get right mentally and emotionally.

It doesnt sound that way. But as James Harden said.. Daryl Morey is a liar.

this is where all of the miss games really hurt. Beyond the losses, these guys just simply haven't played together enough...and it leads to a lot of not knowing where guys are at on both ends of the floor. Again Biid at the peak of his powers could often make up for that..but Biid who has lost 2-3 steps can't clean up that ****.

Even during the run tho without the big oaf, the defense was lowkey trash because its a bunch of gambling that might lead to some turnovers, with Biid back they are stuck between doing that and doing the funneling to him...and again the **** chemistry is causing confusion. Which lead to a lot of easy buckets while we spent our offense taking turns between our 3 guys taking the hardest tough shots possible.

Thats the game. There will be more of these games and probably by the time they figure it out someone will probably go out hurt.

As stated earlier, a fluke run is simply not in the cards. Too far back. Too reliant on our two old dudes getting healthy. Too reliant on the team to gel. Just **** tank. Even if you want to do a dual timelines thing and not fully blow it up...for THIS season tho? Its not happening man.

We lost to the Cade less Pistons? Yikes

Let's just embrace the tank and be done with this joke of a season.

Joel has a brass set of balls to be calling out Oubre after the effort he gave for most of the night and this whole year, frankly. And I don’t even like Oubre. But getting rid of Joel would be addition by subtraction at this point. He is an all time loser player.

What a great transition for philly native Coach Lowry being the Derek Fisher or Brian Shaw or Jason Kidd Steve Nash first year head coach, of the 2025-26 76ers. He’ll be or Larry Bird Danny Ainge GM

normal heat of the moment stuff

but you can't be the guy to do when this is your 15th game of the season and not to the guy who generally always plays hard

I love Yabu, but the ideal PF next to Embiid needs to be a defensive anchor—someone like Evan Mobley. This game makes that clear.

Embiid is such a bad teammate. Get him out ASAP

I think there's a time to start Yabu at 4 with Joel... Like rebounding and boxing out is a big deal with his big body... Sometimes when Joel doesn't have a big rebounding game, just putting a body on someone helps make it happen. Plus as we saw vs Dallas, Joel's height making those passes to Yabu was a weapon , plus his shooting and pick and roll play with Joel spacing.

But his real value is backup 5 for Maxey and George with solid wing defenders next to them. I even think he's a more valuable 4 next to Drummond or Bona

Man...Just end it. The closest to cohesion we've gotten was last month. This isn't going to work with Embiid missing every other game. Part time Paul has been dreadfully boring out there. Just going through the motions. This team is not on the same page. There's GOT to be a divide. Your two highest paid players are two of the most fragile, sensitive star players in the game. Team played with a lot more grit and toughness without Embiid and George and that needs to change yesterday. I can't believe I'm saying this, but yeah...It's **** time to trade Embiid. This is going nowhere.

Too late to tank..... Plus they'll play harder without the old stars.

Btw, Grimes and Edwards..... Thumbs up! Young 4 and D guys that make quick offensive decisions to shoot or drive or pass. Much like Tyrese. If Joel can get right, could be so good

Paul George is having the worst season of his career, and it's not even close.

Out of everything else that's wrong... this is the number one issue. I honestly don't care about anything else and that includes Josh, Morey and Embiid.

Paul George wouldn’t be an issue at all if Embiid was playing like last year (before the injury) or the two years before. Embiid’s decline and lack of availability is the issue.

The first 2 minutes of these highlights are Detroit baskets due to Embiid giving piss poor effort. Him getting angry with Oubre is peak hypocrisy.

I feel for Embiid with the injury. Not wanting to jump in traffic for fear of landing wrong is a pretty damn limiting thing for a guy that lives in the paint.

But wtf man. That effort was a joke, and as the guy the team looks to, it trickles down. This type of **** is why I wanted Jimmy so bad. He'd be the alpha of the team, and not put up with that BS. This team has no leader. Paul is a go with the flow guy. Maxey is happy go lucky. And Jo just doesn't give a F half the time. Lowry has the personality, he just stinks now so he doesn't hold weight.

Great game from the team with "all of its best players healthy".

Next year is going to be the exact same as this year. And unfortunately that's what it's going to take to move on from Morey and Nurse and Embiid and George.
