Is it not appropriate anymore to expect these mother f*cking players to play through & honour their damn f*ckin contract!

To the people who think we should've traded Jimmy in the off-season.
Who could've we have gotten that's better than what we just got? I'm just curious.

Sometimes the quickly approaching deadline and a few desperate teams can create more value for your player. So, in a way, the management was hedging the bet. Let's try one more run w Jimmy and see how it goes until the deadline. If it's going great, we give him an extension, if not, explore the trade market.

3 1sts from the Sixers, potentially 5 from the Knicks that they sent for a far lesser player than Jimmy in Bridges after they contacted us and we turned them down. Either easily trumps what we got

Underrated pickup Watched a lot of Wolves games last year. He would find Bam and Ware a lot of openings.

And in the past +/- 20 years, the Heat have the most playoff wins in the NBA. Remarkable.

Yeah, this sounds great in hindsight but if they traded Jimmy in the offseason, people would've been crying about Pat punting on this season and giving up on Jimmy too early.

Does it really matter? If its true Jimmy comes across like a sociopath, if its a lie he still comes across like a sociopath manipulating the media.

Its bizarre either way and I don't think its something that helps his cause or public perception. Honestly fans are pretty accepting of guys going for money nowadays (look at the NIL), if he just made it clear it was about money, besides initial backlash I think it would have been less drama all around and he'd come out looking better.

Man I am not arguing that little girl 5th grade level gossip sh*t with you. Butler the one going around wearing color weave in his hair of other teams that he want attention for.

Trying to find things to disrespect Riley while enjoying our accomplishments & acquisition is down right despicable & disgusting behaviour. Not surprised though.

Remember it was the same Riley you so want to curse & chase out of our team that picked Bam to be here. In turn We helped Bam be the player he is, get paid & become a leader/captain/all star here.

Pat cld dance, cry, sing or masturbate in those damn meetings, doesn’t f*cking matter. We’re one of the most successful organisations in the league because of him, not in spite…..to this day - don’t get sh*t twisted. KISS THE F*CKING RINGS!

If u don't want 2b here, the way things work, u don't like it, then don't b here. U have 2 stand on something. If Miami ain't standing on something, they become alot of these organizations trying 2 find their identity. This is the culture, bro -Wade

Come on man, we sold low.

His value hit rock bottom due to the suspension, his age getting up there and his contract almost ending.

There's no doubt we could have gotten a much better return if we got a head of this and traded him this summer or even the trade deadline last year.

We got lazy and didn't act on time. I think the our owed picks to OKC and Hornets played a role in that, but the fact is we sold low and too late - we could've gotten probably another couple of nice picks/young players - which would have helped us land the next star - maybe even could've gotten D.Fox with those assets.

It is what is. We need to be more strategic going forward. We salvaged the situation by getting a somewhat acceptable return, even if it's not nearly as good as it could have been.

Even if you think we couldn't have done better, you still do it in the offseason to avoid the drama. That has an effect on the team.

Still hard to believe we are finally done with the Butler drama.

I hope the team looks better with the new additions.

In a perfect world, LeBron stays, we win not just two rings, not 3 or not 4, or not 5, or not 6....

Lebron was always set on leaving and it turned out to be the right decision when you see how wades game deteriorated and Bosh medically retired with blood clots

Just joking. Obviously there's no perfect world.
Otherwise, why not win the all the championships from the beginning to the end of the time?, lol

Return to Miami Heat
