Ik i hate when Koby deals with Ainge but send LeVert out for these 2, accomplishes a lot. Get the back-up 5 that jbk wants in Mo. Then get the little pitbull in PJ we all want when teams get too physical; he potetinally could take Niang's role come playoff time too..

Deal also woulda got ya below the tax line. Exactly why the Clippers wouldn't agree.

I'd try to make it a 3 team trade. Have those 2 rerouted our way, send LeVert to the Jazz, let the Jazz keep the Clippers 2nd rounder for facilitating. Clippers keep Mills and Eubanks.

They're denying it, but it seems likely to me Luka was demanding a trade and the Lakers were the only team on his list with an asset the Mavs wanted. The fact that even the Lakers didn't offer more for Luka suggests they knew.

Otherwise it's inexplicable why the Mavs didn't listen to offers from every team in the league, or supermax extend him then listen to offers from every team in the league.

I felt Cleveland made the most sense. No expectations, he wouldn't be given rotation minutes (at least I would hope not), and if he provides values in the minutes he does get, he'd like start getting more. Going to LAC because he'll get the most playing time out of the gate feels like a recipe for the Ben Simmons status quo.

I'm looking around at who are currently free agents and those rumored to be, nothing really sticks out to me.

I think one of Robert Covington or Reggie Bullock just as extreme insurance options could make sense but if we do that, would it make sense just to bring back Marcus Morris? I have no clue.

I wish Chandler Hutchison would've ever been anything, since he's already on the Charge, easy rest of the season deal but he's nothing. Nothing on the Charge, including our 2way guys really seem worthwhile.

I'm still not all way out on the corpse of McGee reunion just in case Allen gets hurt for the 4th spring in a row.
