Orlando is the worst shooting team and adding Barrett will help them in this department
Toronto gets a backup big and guard, plus a young backup forward. Or swap them with late FRP or multiple SRPs.

Obviously it wont happen due to Barrett's Canadian tie and popularity. Quickly is the one who would be moved realistically.

Why would Toronto even accept this? Carter Jr becomes a expensive backup 5, Harris basically is a stop gap guard who gives you no long term value and Da Silvia is okay but I think RJ holds more value to us than this

I’d start WCJ over Poeltl in general, but especially for a team with spacing concerns, and da Silva is a nice prospect. Not sure I’d move RJ for them, but both are good young players. Harris would be just a contract.

TBH I like RJ more than BI for a young team that’s still rebuilding. Ingram is better for now, but I think Barrett will hit a higher level soon enough.

No one has any idea what Masai is doing right now. He’s either got a super secret genius plan he’s slowly bringing to fruition, or he’s gone completely off the rails and is rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic.

I know which one it looks like to me.

I doubt anyone really wants him tbh. He is back below league average efficiency and is just a high volume guy that probably should have his role reduced, but he doesn't generate value, imo, in a lesser role.

He panicked because Barnes new deal is kicking in. The window to rebuild is gone, they should have the second Barnes won ROTY. He's going after non-shooters that suck on defense and overpaying them. This is a complete disaster. The Raptors are on the hook for 4 MORE YEARS on IQ's new deal and they don't even know what they have with him because he's been injured. Then Masai's dumbass is locking into another big contract with BI. They're a borderline tax team that isn't even guaranteed to get into the play in.
