Star player.
Older guys looking for you in a moment of need, finding you, getting the f**k out the way so you can work.
Jersey hanging out, smooth cross into the jump shot, and 1!

The hierarchy has been established and VJ is finally shining!
Baylor is stacked with guards and because of that VJ wasn't getting enough opportunities on offense earlier in the season.
He just looks so much more comfortable out there now. He's been locked into the top 4 all season long, that's the lowest I've had him.

Mcneeley is a total bum, who the hell wants a wing with that kind of stock production it almost makes him unplayable. His base fg% is low and he doesnt have the greatest shooting history. Way too flawed.
And as if kispert with better defense (mcneeley's d sucks) is a good player lol

VJ doesn't have the greatest self creation potential but there is at least some multidimensionality he can add with a dribble j over time and with his rim volume increases in layup% (which is something that many players can improve over time) should guarantee he's a neutral player on offense at worst.
Anyone expecting him to be like a SG version of de'andre hunter will be in for a rude awakening. Vj is a **** disturber on the court with some solid tools to work with on the offensive end to grow his halfcourt game.

Don't ask me what I'd do to have Cooper on this team.

Maluach has some bust potential, can’t afford to miss in this year’s draft

McNeeley is a Kispert with better defense. There is a spot for him on any team in the league. Edgecombe is going to be ''developed'' his entire rookie deal, signed to a large dumb deal, and then rot on a bench somewhere. If you knew how to read stats you would see that McNeeley is the best stationary shooter in the draft.
Who are your top choices, feels like there's always a new player coming out and surprising every week.
Top 8 (Raptors range).
Flagg, Bailey, Harper, Kasp, and Johnson are going to be top options on winning teams.
Then I have Maluach, McNeeley, and Fleming as super role players similar in effect to OG.

Cooper’s analytics are off the charts. What a player.
By far #1 pick.

It's hard to tell. He's legit big, unlike damn near every other center prospect I've seen (Kalkbrenner the lone exception and I haven't seen the Euros/Aussies/African kids). And he's engaged on D and doesn't seem to do dumb things on O. But he had trouble hanging onto the ball off rebounds, he rarely seems to get open for lobs or anything and he doesn't seem to particularly read the game well. Notably nice FT stroke though, just looks like a wing's, which is something.
So yeah, I have no idea if he'll develop into Mo Bamba or into a quality starting center.
If we don't get a top 4 pick, I wonder if we'll consider trading down, trying to get a backup 5 and backup PG.
Like if Portland would do Clingan and #11 for #6 and Dick, they could just re-sign Ayton and keep Timelord? They've been on fire lately and they have depth (Scoot and Simons at PG, Sharpe, Avdija, Camara, Grant on the wings and 3 centers so going down to 2 centers but getting Dick and a prospect they like long-term at #6 makes sense roster-wise) and this moves them up to get a prospect they like who won't be there at 11, and they could use a shooter. And we just take one of the many PGs in the draft at #11.

Barrett-Walter
Quickley-#11-Shead
It's not super exciting, but I'm just not super excited about anyone outside the top 4.
Another option would be to move the 2026 pick to move up into the top 4, and some team bets on us being terrible again. Or we do that, but trading down and getting a swap next year and shorting some team that might take a step back?
I would guess just based on probability that the Raptors must have one player outside the top 4 they like a lot.
But I'm not sure there will be 2 or 3, and whoever they have 5th on their board might be available 5-6 picks later. I guess there's still a couple months for some freshman to make a leap and that post-tourney period where the prospects work with individual trainers for some wing with other good qualities to fix their jumper, start hitting 3s (in an empty gym, but still) and upgrade themselves as a prospect, like Demin, Murray-Boyles or Thiero.
Where's the D?

1. Flagg
3. Edgecombe
4. Harper?
5. Jak?
6. Condon
7. CMB
8. Sorber
Note: I don't know enough about the int'l prospects so I didn't rate them, but I'm intrigued.

Is Flagg a poor man's Lebron James, seems like it. Maybe not poor man's but something in the middle which is still really great.

I'm still a Maluach fan, he'd easily be impactful on our Raps team, we desperately need a backup big with potential who's a lob threat. He hits his FTS too

Considering Shead has a good chance of being a decent back-up and IQ is like a 6th man, the only PG I’d be interested in is a star prospect that can eventually replace IQ in the SL. Not sure about any of the PG’s past the top 5. Maybe if Traore developed a jumper.
I like Clingan as a defensive big, but I’d rather not get another injury prone guy.
I’d probably try to get two lower picks + a future pick from Utah for ~#6 and draft Carter Bryant + Danny Wolf/Sorber
Some of the wing depth and one of IQ/RJ likely need to be packaged for another star eventually

I think Shead's age and size, lack of improvement in college, means that even though he's a dog, he's ultimately a 3rd PG.
Utah could make sense, they have to do something at some point. But that's a trade down all the way to #21 or so. I guess Phoenix' 2031 unprotected pick is interesting now. The Lakers 2027 top 4 protected pick less so. And we don't need more guys, we need better guys. Which probably makes trading down untenable. I really hope we end up top 4.
Bryant's stats are something. I think he might end up going top 10.
