The vaunted buyout market that was supposed to save us is drying up fast:

And if we get Ben Simmons he wont' shoot the ball, yet we need shooting in the worst way possible. Patty Mills, Eubanks, Beauchamp and Bogi.. We're literally throwing sh*t against the wall right now.

Told y'all about Moussa Diabate

Tonight vs Spurs (CHA win)? 9 pts, 15 rebs, 6 ast, 1 to, 2 fouls.

Yes its on Charlotte, but its still an NBA team and has been doing it consistently since he got there.

The Moussa '25 campaign surges on..

Wow. That's pretty amusing and disappointing at the same time.

He seems to have 1 foot out the door of the league. The prospects for Philly are just not that great because of Embiid.

I've let the BBJ thing go, but this was the one guy to keep without a doubt. He would've been so perfect for the team we have now backing up Zu. Nonstop motor, runs the floor, rebound monster, put backs, blocks shots, dunks, weight room warrior, etc. A 2nd round draft pick that turns into "culture guy" for the team ala TMann. Bad team but he's still playing against the best players in the world. But we kicked him to the curb to "unlock" Mo Bamba and he didn't even last to the all star break. Yikes!

Lol, Man I wish PG would read the room for once. Their full squad (Embiid, PG, Maxey) just lost to the Pistons who were without Cade Cunningham. SMH

Moussa showed it in college, his ability to impact both ends, and his enthusiasm. That usually translates well to the next level.

I bet he'll start hitting some threes in 1-2 years.

And Kai Jones too. Plus giving Kobe Brown a look at the 5. They just didn't see him breaking the logjam. The thing is, he just can't shoot. At all.

0-3 feet .725
3-10 feet .217
10-16 feet.043 .
3-pt .014

FT% 56%

So basically you're looking at a 210 lb Reggie Evans. I'm not saying they made the right choice, but they did have reasons.

I remember the internet Clipper commentariat being far more juiced about Kai Jones than dismayed Moussa was let go. You can't keep everybody. To repeat, I'm not saying they made the right choice, but they did have reasons.

The numbers/stats you brought up, is that his G League numbers or the numbers he put up during his sparse few games he was with on the main team? Really only judge stats for at least a full season in the NBA. For the record I wanted BBJ and Moussa to get one more year with us with PG, Westbrook, and Plumlee leaving. I was also happy we were getting Kai Jones. I didn't care for the Mo Bamba signing at all. He's been on a different team each year and doesn't seem to love the game. His time with us played out just like how I thought it would.

Those stats are from this year with the Hornets.

If you wanted to keep Moussa and BBJ, that's fine. But two of these 3 would have to go.

Jordan Miller: A 6'5" small forward, Miller was selected by the Clippers with the 48th overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. He signed a two-way contract with the team on August 7, 2023.

Trentyn Flowers: Standing at 6'9", Flowers is a small forward who joined the Clippers on a two-way deal on July 25, 2024.

Kai Jones: A 6'11" forward/center, Jones re-signed with the Clippers on July 9, 2024, and his contract was converted to a two-way deal on October 19, 2024.

Okay, yeah Moussa is not a three point shooter at all.. Not yet anyways. Plus he's getting a ton of offensive rebounds and kicking them back out to three point shooters so him not being a three point threat isn't a liability for the team. Hell Zu won't even take a three pointer or even a mid range jumper even though I wish he would.

With that list, and not signing Mo Bamba which I wish they hadn't done, only one guy has to go between BBJ and Moussa. Three two-ways and one standard contract. Who would get the standard contract is the question. And between BBJ and Moussa, you'd have to go with Moussa as athletic bigs is sorely needed over another wing.

L. Frank still on that bullsh*t. Ain't no free agents out there that's going to save the Clippers. Develop some youth. You had Moussa but you wanted to "unlock" Mo Bamba. Had SGA, all of our picks, and open cap space, but instead you had to s*ck Kawhi off. Always chasing and never building. Wake the f*ck up clown and enter 2025. Talking about free agents doesn't even get NBA fans hyped anymore. What is he smoking?
