That's been known for a while.

The Knicks have not beaten the top contenders in either conference.

Remember these games when the playoff comes. These are not outliers. This is a preview of the playoffs. We're not built to win a title. Need more major moves this summer.

That Bridges deal could have netted us FAR better. That OG contract will haunt us in the future. The stupid moves filling the roster with tiny guards when tall team continue to torch us. Waiting on Mitch while pushing back his return date THEN doing nothing to address it for the trade deadline. Soon, watching other teams empty the cupboard of the dominant G-League team in Westchester.

I really don't care to blame thibs, rose, bridges, kat, terrible fans like meLo, I'm just sick of the Knicks being a joke. Getting blown out on national TV again is dejecting

Brunson comes to play but collectively we lost as a team.

Much worse FG%
Much worse 3pt% and made
Much worse rebounding
Tie in turnovers
Better FTs made

It's partly mental (Celtics play with extra focus comparing with other games, we play with either nervous or unprepared or mentally inferior), and much on coaching. We may be short for the talent but the coaching has exaggerated that a lot. Swap the team coach and this game could have a very different result. Leon Rose must see it but when will he pull the trigger? Our champ window depends on our coaching talent too.

remember we didn't challenge or didn't call a timeout after this play and then the celtics ballooned the lead to 19

We are pretenders for now! We definitely need Mitch back 100% to match up against the Celtics.

The Cavs got better before the trade deadline.

Not the same old Cavs.

We can beat the Bucks in a series.

Top 4 EC
1. Cavs
2. Celtics
3. Knicks
4. Bucks

We are still having problems defending the perimeter.

They had 132 in the first game

They also had 133 last season when we had Mitch.

Team is better than 75% of the league, can’t complete with 25% of the league

Would be great if we didn’t mortgage every asset we had to get here

But to be fair, another amazing game by Mr Unimpactful Mikal bridges

Sorry, Mikal had 18 points against Sacramento - Great trade. Leon is the GOAT

I typically agree...but its seems to be a trend vs high pace/high volume 3 pt shooting teams.

the celtics size is certainly an issue vs us. But the amount of open 3's we give up is comical.

We will always have that run in the beginning of the 3rd to make it a game before everything went downhill.

Nobody is living dying game to game. We put up 2 stinkers against the team we set out to best this offseason. Cleveland puts up a better effort and have remained tops in the east. Nevermind that Cleveland got better at the trade deadline and we did nothing. These are signs. I'd rather see the writing on the wall than cover my eyes and hope things magically change, when history shows that it won't.

OG not playing certainly hurtsbecause he is the only guy that can someone guard tatum with his size..otherwise we don't have big wings.

problem is celtics will just screen the **** off OG and we will have no answer for that.

He misses Randle. We lost a good one in Randle, ask Wolves fans. Imagine being the only person from 2 fanbases to hold nuts for an a player. Now ask the Wolves if they want KAT back and see what the response is.

I'm not sure why fans thought this Knicks team could compete with the Celtics. It's more a credit to what Boston has built than a knock on the Knicks. But on this site, everything is either all sunshine and roses or complete doom and gloom.

smh @ the KAT and Bridges attacks

Just last week dudes wanted to name their first child after them

At best this team will play another scrappy series against the Pacers. Might even win it. But that's it.
Need a fresh approach next year. Roster is locked so it has to be the coach.
