Are any national writers speculating about Vuc or any other Bulls players?

KC Johnson will just continue tweeting that the Bulls are still talking to teams and something could happen, but the national guys are going to be the ones who have any updated information.

I don't feel like what's going on is AK asking for too much for Vuc, but rather no one being that interested in Vuc.

Again - Vuc is a consultation prize that I imagine gets traded near the deadline or not at all.

Yes, Windhorst on ESPN this morning said the Warriors are still considering a Vooch move.

Because they vastly overpaid for Williams.

Williams will justify their investiment.

He has the talent to shore their biggest issue. I know Bull fans are use to hoping for the best but teams trying to win actually are willing to pay fill in their massive holes.

If Vuc is still a GSW possibility then after all the talk a 1-1 trade should have been made by now. I don't think the Bulls feel the GSW package is any good for them. So likely the hangup is finding that 3rd and 4th teams to put everybody in motion. With CHA who needs to find some center I don't think they have enough salaries to send to the Bulls.

It's not like CHA is going to turn it around next year, if it's a good deal they can even suffer through an expiring Vuc while they look for the long term solution, it's not like he'd win them a bunch of games

Just because it's deadline crazy time. I think maybe it should be a massive unrealistic trade.

the Bulls move Vuc to GSW, Collins to CHA Carter maybe Terry somewhere and return the PORT pick
and get back Ayton maybe a shorter contract some spare SRP's
GSW sends some expiring to PORT, some contracts to CHA
PORT sends some contracts to CHA

Bulls get a younger more athletic center
GSW get their center
CHA gets a tall guy
PORT gets their pick and smaller contracts

There are no cure all trades to solve problems for more than one team, teams should try to solve either their long or short term problems knowing both isn't going to happen. 2:00 can't come soon enough

He said it in pre game. He wants the challenge of the rebuild.
That's even worse, I could stomach Vuc, but BD is just horrible.

I agree, BD has shown nothing in the way of developing talent. He completely busted on Williams development although you could argue the reverse happening. All in all I say absolutely hell naw to BD in any future role.

Has anything come up about what was offered for Vuc?

Looney, GP2, and second round picks.

If that's true then I would've been okay with that. Vucevic is 34 years old and not really a part of the teams future.

AK is brain dead.

It’s actually probably good. Jalen Smith is playing so much better than Vuc that we’d win games with Smith playing 30mpg

He has to get traded.

He doesn't have to.

He should be. But, he won't.

If only the Lakers would have chosen Vucevic, a powerhouse double-double machine, over a broken center in his 20s named Williams. The Bulls would have a couple good players and some picks. The Lakers would have a much better chance of getting to the Finals. Oh well. Both teams are worse off.

The Warriors didn't want to offer Looney

Some didn't want to trade Looney but it's either Looney, Kuminga, or Hield. Kuminga wasn't being traded and if they kept Looney they'd have 4 centers on the roster.

I know im in the minority, but id rather watch vuc one more year than trade for that trash. He is good for the teams development as he is a good teammate who moves the ball. It never sticks with him, and its good for the young guys to paly with someone like him. If we can’t get an asset worth keeping for him at deadline, offseason or next deadline, i would extend him on a team friendly deal as a good backup center in the twilight of his career.

Not sure why he gets so much hate. I like watching him play.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

Yeah he's been a consummate pro. He doesn't hurt our tank and we can revisit a better trade in the summer . The Lakers would probably kill for him right now .

The funny thing is with the trade being unwound, Vooch probably becomes a Lakers trade candidate this offseason, though I assume they’d prefer more of a rim protector option.

They wanted a lightly protected 1st for him and a 2nd? I get aiming high but be realistic FFS AKME.

He doesn't hurt the tank is just another way of saying he does absolutely nothing to help us win games which is a great reason to trade him for whatever value you can get.

I think he's getting traded dude it's just ak didn't want the trash that was being offered . He won't be a bull longer than the NBA draft.
