So your conspiracy is aimed at the Hornets, but if any Hornets fan is skeptical about the shady **** they do in Los Angeles, they are the conspiracy theorist.

You make it hard to lift the boot on our neck.

Not sure where you're getting that I think I said there's a conspiracy aimed at the Hornets.
That's not at all what that statement you quoted as saying.

Well your theory is that Hornets medical staff is incompetent and botched this trade.

It's a conspiracy about something that may be untrue. Mark is going to play again this year. Then what, Fats?

Not necessarily. That article is from two days ago on the day of the trade. I have no doubt that they had vetted him in terms of his health, Best they could from a distance. i dont Think these discussions started an hour before the trade Deadline ended, so the Lakers probably had time to have some of their doctors look into it from afar. But things could have been very different once they were able to review him in person and put him through whatever tests and imaging.

I think there's a very real possibility that Mark was playing when he probably should not have been playing. We can all see that he looks like he has concrete in his feet lately.

And if he plays again this year then great for mark. I'll be wrong and then you can come back five years from now and tell me about another time I was wrong.

Not a Lakers or Hornets fan but I am good at reading.

The last line Pelinka says here is the important one.

"We've vetted the injuries he's had and we're not concerned about those. "

Now, the key piece of information here is Pelinka isn't worried about any past injuries Mark Williams has had.

However, it doesn't mean something else didn't get flagged on the physical which wasn't part of directly related to a previous injury.

I think that's why the Lakers ended up moving on from Mark Williams. They found something else which regarding Mark Williams body, it raised a red flag as it wasn't related to a previous injury, and thus a failed physical.

Unfortunately we likely won't be hearing about it as I don't think teams typically leak information about a players red flag publicly.

Same poster was just on T&T board using the putdown that Hornets fans are wearing tinfoil hats.

Again, you need to locate the first punch before you comment on the counter.

Now in the most hilarious thing possible the Hornets do play the Lakers in LA immediately after the All Star break. I would love to be wrong 1000 times over just for mark to suit up in that game and drop 40 and 20 in a win against the Lakers.

That isn't what I said.

I said the people who are coming up with conspiracy theories are Charlotte fans. I didn't say all Charlotte fans are wearing tinfoil hats.

Well he's playing. Or you're right and the MD's in Charlotte learned an entirely different medical school curriculum than the MD's in LA.

Even though it's standardized.

you are acting tinfoil hat, most of the Hornets board thought they got fleeced and Mark was the 3rd of the core 3 when the deal happened, if Mark has no injury issues you guys should be thrilled

The way LeBron clings to superteams, it's not deductive reasoning in light of KD hitting the trade block, that he and Luka are already texting KD about next year?

Conspiracy theories...

You mean the NBA forced Luka to the Lakers when ratings were down. Never put him on the market and traded him for a 32yr old injury prone AD.

Nah no conspiracy.

This is just entertainment. This move was for the future and the best business move. Don't believe me D Wade literally told us all. If that isn't enough Colin Cowherd confirmed it and said he heard it from a good friend behind the scenes the Luka trade was about the owners.

Guess who has a new TV showing airing on TBS after the all-star game? Anthony Davis! Yep the guy who's relatively quiet is gifted a TV show...I wonder why maybe that behind the scenes agreement trade came with a tv show for guess who Anthony Davis.

The NBA is entertainment never trust a entertainment business. Shady stuff happens all the time. Ratings were down the NBA had to make a power move for now and the future. Lakers need their star as they are the NBA's top money maker. Just look at their history they always get stars.

No conspiracy theories here just the nature of the business people! :D

I was watching the NFL playoffs and Josh Allen got a 1st down vs the Chiefs and they literally told us nope that didn't happen. Gave the ball back to KC and they ended up scoring on that drive because of a bad call.

Then people question why the Chiefs always get calls in their favor, because the NFL wants them to win! Look at the commercials its literally Mahomes/Reid/Kelce and they got the biggest mascot of all Taylor Swift. She makes the NFL a lot of money just being associated with the NFL and attending games.

Cmon guys sports are real, but you would be a fool to think it can't be rigged for certain teams. I'm not here to tell you not to watch sports, I'm just saying keep a open mind and don't take sports seriously. It's a entertainment business at the end of the day.
