One point about Randle that's currently being debunked is his ability to stay on the court...man is getting injury-prone. He hasn't been an ironman for a while.

That's just how it is

You're an ironman until you're not.

Grimes turned out to be an egotist who the Knicks were right to jettison

I mean, I feel like it's a pretty normal thing to want to go somewhere which would give you the best chance to show out for a bigger contract when you're a fringe player on the last year of your deal.

Really feel awful for raptors fans. They were hoping Rj would be in the trade for Ingram. That sucks big time for them.

It’s looking like we should’ve chose Grimes over Deuce.

Grimes- 10 PPG on 46/40/77 splits
Deuce- 9 PPG on 41/36/84 splits.

Yeah, the Knicks just got their ass kicked by Payton Pritchard who asked to be traded twice for similar reasons but the Celtics couldn't find a good return for him. It looks like the Celtics made a smart decision to hold onto him and move on from Smart and Brogdon. Now they have a top bench player on a great deal.

With as thin as this year's depth is the Knicks probably would have been better off holding onto Grimes too.

I agree. That situation was hard on everyone last year. Hart wasn’t happy, Grimes was struggling, DDV took a while to get rolling.

I think Grimes had to move on to get his mental right again, but I don’t hate him for it. He’s still the same guy who got a key stop on Butler during a crucial playoff situation after suffering an injury. I wish we had someone like him off our bench right now.

I was talking about this year

I think it's pretty normal that if you're in the last year of your contract with millions on the line depending on your performance, you're not gonna want to stay in a place where they just traded for a younger, better version of you that's gonna reduce your role.

I was going to post this but decided against it cause making fun of players that meLo stans supercedes being rational.
