Yup these fans have been rooting for tanking a lot more than for actually winning games. They have become anti bulls fans at this point lol

I dont think you understand. How do you think we got Tyson and Eddy, then Luol, Ben Gordon, Kirk Hinrich, Joakim Noah etc etc. We tanked.

That left us with enough draft equity of good players to build something. Whether it be with trades or whatever. Those particular teams only got so far, until we finally got lucky in the draft and got DRose.

DRose adding to those other really solid players gave us 8 consecutive playoff years and one ECF and could have won a title.

The team we have now is a perpetual 9-10th seed. As we have been the last 2 years.

So this isnt about Jerry. This is just reality. If you arent a LA or Miami where top players come because they feel like it, we have to build thru the draft and get lucky.

This.We need to get used for at least 2 seasons of tanking.

I really didnt think KH would play as much as he did. But he had a horrible debut.

When Zo returns, its really going to crowd this backcourt. I dont really care.

To me, Matas, Ayo and Coby should not be affected by any rotations. They should all get 30 mins.

I am in LA, I watched pleeeenty of the Kings. Huerter has been bad for 2 years. He was hitting shots in the first Beam Team year but that was all he could do. His jumper was broken all of last year and then Keon Ellis showed up and not only shot it better but plays real defense.

Huerter shouldn't play if you want to win. Sacramento learned that last year.

He and Collins are dead weight. Not sure why Billy gave him so much burn when all he did was get torched and brick shots.

Billy is a very good tank commander.

Thats not accurate. We tried to run without Jordan and failed

There's no way the Bulls can improve without tanking now.

He can't possibly even know the offense yet. What is this board?

People are tired of rooting for weak players and after trading our best player for trash it's really hard being optimistic about the future without tanking.

Meaning, why did he play at all…

To learn the offense.

To improve our losing chances.

Stopped watching when we were up 10 in the 3rd quarter, so I got the win. It's not uncommon for this to happen but Matas seems to disappear in 2nd halves. Wonder if it's an endurance thing or a mental thing. Didn't see why Ball was out, but maybe not a bad idea to just wrap him up and put him on the shelf until next season anyway. Speaking of which, can we come up with fake injuries to start sitting Vuc.

Happy to see Coby upping his trade value.

Please play this lineup
Ayo/Ball
White/Huerter
Matas/Giddy
PWill/Giddy/Phillips
Vuc/Smith
Collins, Jones, Carter. Terry deep bench

Get a top 7 pick-that's what counts now, along with Matas' development

Then trade Vuc/White and suck next year

It’s only one game but I’m not sure Huerter should play over Terry at this point.

Play both, we're tanking anyway.

No, there's no need, just keep starting that same lineup until the end of regular season, playing Vuc as much as possible.

Well that was a mess but not unexpected with the jumbled lineup and a couple of new guys getting to know who was on their side.

I think the coaches have to take charge at halftime and say, these guys are doing well feed them the ball in the 2nd half or sit down. Again Smith and Williams scored in the 1st half, couldn't get the ball or do anything in the 2nd. This has gone on with Vuc in the past and has to stop.

I don't know how much anybody beyond Buzelis or maybe Patrick can do to impress for the future. However it works out, PWill grabs the ball with authority on rebounds but fumbles too often going to the basket, gotta work on that. Collins, Huerter and Jones have at least 4-5 years each, played against the Bulls, they're no mystery. Coby, Ayo, Giddey have had the same number of years and 50 games together tryout. Ball you want to use sparingly so he's here next year

I would like to see Billy maybe use analytics to make two lists and start this 5 for 3 games with the other list coming off the bench, then flip flop for the next 3 games and see who does better where.

Matas Williams
Ayo Huerter
Vucevic Smith
Giddey White
Ball Jones

Phillips, Collins, THT, Terry, Carter kinda get left out unless there's an injury but that's the position the team is in

Doing a little rewatch. My fondness for Huerter has grown. He's going to end up a fan favorite. Jones seems like a JAG

Just keep playing Vuc and the losses will come

Neither looked awful

What are the things you think either did well?

Jones looked good handling the ball and attacking the basket
Huerter has a beautiful stroke, he's aggressive in moving without the ball and is solid on help D, He doesn't stop moving for a team of players who mostly just get to a spot and stop moving

I did not see the same jones as you at all.

Huerter besides all the misses looks good to me. Moves well, passes very well, rebounded. I like him as a reserve.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls

Im rewatching and Jones is pretty meh. Obviously its one game but if we had to judge whether t re-sign him on that game i'd let him walk.

I can't shake the feeling that this team is a superstar away from actually being very good....

I also really like Coby

I have agree with the superstar comment. It's been like that all year for me. We could also really use a defensive C to alternate with Smith. A superstar could make Ayo, Coby, Ball and Matas look really really good.
