None of the guys that were brought in are the ones that we can count on to be a primary source of offense or replace what engaged Jimmy would provide, but they do fill most of the other gaps that we've been seeing. In particular, I think Wiggins and Mitchell and even Slo Mo will help us look less lost in defending in transition. Hopefully more ballhandlers helps with the turnover issues too.

Adding three new dudes to the rotation overnight is a drastic move, wonder if Spo will play all the new guys tmmrw (hopefully)

I would start Wiggins with Mitchell, Herro, Bam and Ware.

Duncan will continue to start but when Jovic comes in i feel like Mitchell will shadow that lineup with him.

Spot on.

We found guys who are skilled at aspects of the game we were missing.

As an aside, I imagine if we had pre injury Dru here the entire time, wed probably have 5 more wins just due to his ball pressure. Thats what Davion can bring.

We filled some holes. We may have lost Jimmy, but he wasnt engaged and was going to miss 30 games. We did good.

Awesome stuff. As expected, he trails JJJ in offense too.

I assume we are trading our 25 1st rounders, Jovic and salary for KD this offseason.

As much as I want to add more youth, we are surely going all in on KD.

Yea I see something like that coming. KD is absolutely a more complete fit for the surrounding core than Jimmy. Just gotta hope the price of acquisition is reflective of the fact that it's a rental. But, with that said I could see a lot of contending teams willing to part with a bunch of draft capital just to rent KD for 1 season of supercharged contention. If it gets too costly that it compromises future roster building then it becomes a tougher pill to swallow.

Most of our core is in a similar age range and KD is even more of an outlier than Jimmy. I wont advocate for trading for KD (if he was 25 Id trade half the team for him) now when he will be 37 (so gross).

Antmans the guy Id have my eye on if we were moving a bunch of our youth and picks. I feel he could shake loose at some point.

The prospect of the supermax is a pull that is almost impossible to overcome. I'd love to see it tho.

THe amount of NBA players that have been worthy of a max contract at age 37 in the history of the NBA can be counted on one hand. And they're exclusively all-time greats. KD does fit in that company tho and his playstyle/skillset is tailor made to be more age-proof than most. Hopefully the price is right.

I’ll be so impressed if we actually end up starting Mitchell like we should.

C Kelel C Jovic C Love
PF Bam PF Anderson PF KJ
SF Wiggins SF JJJ SF Highsmith
SG Herro SG Duncan SG Larrson SG Burks
PG Mitchell PG Rozier

Looking at this depth chart and I can see why Burks was less than enthused to bang those drums lol.
