The other thing with Mitchell is he’s an RFA after this season. He’ll be wanting to show out and get paid. Good motivation for him to play his best ball here.

Excited for tomorrows game but it’s a tough first up for the guys.

Starters jersey 100

Yep and we even get a glimpse of Duncan in the 2nd unit jersey.

Love it, this is how it should be. Throw 2 stud defenders into the starting lineup who can also knock down 3s. Mitchell plays his role as a 3 and D PG with some solid playmaking (my goal is 6 APG on low TOs if starting), have Ware using his size as a deterrent, as a lob threat, and knock down open 3s, while we rely on Herro Bam and Wiggins as our top 3 scoring options.

This is the way Bammy. Let’s turn this turd season around

Man I liked Coles, that boy was a pitbull. I wish Mitchell would get a flat top in honor of Coles.

Norris Cole was more Bimbo Coles. Both absolutely sucked. Just like McGruder and Jagsmith. This team has a long history of these types that get overplayed for way too long.

The Heat have definitely shown that there is a prototypical type of player that fits our system, and those players can over perform in our system versus in another systems. Mitchell seems to be one of those players that will fit in better here than he has in other teams. I definitely expect it to be his best nba stint to date. What is nice that we aren’t taking a low or undrafted pick… this is a player that was a lottery pick. Curious to see how we does in a system and with a coaching staff that uses data, strategy, and analytics to put their players in the best spots.

I dont understand way many get caught up on where a player is picked or how they got in the league. There are a lot more politics in a player getting picked now than it was in the past. A lot of these players shouldnt even get drafted let a lone in the first round.

We are a deeper team now with our new additions. We basically didnt have butler the whole season, even when he was on the starting line up we didnt actually have him.

A lot to feel good about our new additions. I think we will have a nice run to end the season.. may not do much in the postseason but we will get there.. there is still work to be done..

Developing Ware and building on the chemistry between him and Bam is the key to our success.. i cant wait for Ware to have lifting sessions with bam in the offseason, hes gonna look like a different player in season 2

Watching this you still seeing Bam doing too many pump fakes and the coaches are not pointing that out. And Pump fake with no plan just doing it because its a habit.

after watching the highlights of our new guys im most interested in how Kyle Anderson fits here. his skill set reminds me of Lamar Odom and to have a high IQ player like that off the bench to help run the offense will be clutch for us. i see why he got the nickname slo mo too. he looks like he is running in oatmeal

I expect him to play center. Probably will not see Kevin any more this season.

I’ll be so impressed if we actually end up starting Mitchell like we should.

It's ridiculous that a common sense move from Spo is considered impressive but here we are

Assuming Mitchell thrives here, what's the most we can match without going into the tax next year since he is a restricted free agent?Remember we still would need to sign our first round draft pick, which might be two draft picks. The last thing Mickey wants is to pay the tax again.
